But for recycle, you can be like "We ended up recycling the bag that I used to trick or treat out of" or something to that effect, and for accessory you could say "A witch's hat is considered an accessory used for a witch costume" or something to that effect.

For the intro, you can start by introducing the fact that it was Halloween, and if you like Halloween or not, etc. to then set the stage for the details of your story. For the conclusion, you can be like "This Halloween was ____" and then explain your reasons why.
