Which sentence is a run-on sentence? A. Trading cards are easy to store, and they are easy to transport. B. Collecting trading cards is enjoyable, though I prefer coin collecting. C. I collect old coins; my brother collects trading cards. D. Collecting is very popular today, it is a good investment and fun.PLZ HELP ASAP

Answers

The correct answer is D. Collecting is very popular today, it is a good investment and fun.

This is because these two sentences are connected only using a comma. What it needs is a conjunction to avoid being a run-on sentence. The other sentences have either conjunctions or a semi colon which also works.

Your teacher has asked you to write a composition describing your ideal house.(120-180 words)Please!! Make for me a good text with title "Ideal House"!!!!!

Ideal House.

To me, the ideal house is not an ideal house. It is a home. Instead of Olympic-sized swimming pools and steaming spas, all I want is a nicely-decorated, cosy bungalow, where my family and I can peacefully reside.
I won't ask for much when Christmas time rolls around again, children smooshing footprints into the delicate snow, just that I can have a fire, and marshmallows, and my best friends and family to gather around it and roast with me.
Of course, when spring bounces into action, I won't dare miss hiding baskets full of Easter Eggs for my children and carefully covering them with a blanket of grass, or shoving them in a shrub for them to giggle with glee at.
My ideal house is not a house at all.
My ideal house is a home.
That is 146 words, I hope it's good enough. :)

Right before his longer speech, the Friar says "Myself condemned and myself excused." He is telling everyone the whole story of  how it all happened, but his motivation is a bit conflicted. He knows that telling them everything will possibly get him into trouble, as he did all of  it without anyone's permission, but also he thinks that being honest will free him from any punishment.

Answers

Let this be so.

His means of death, his obscure burial—

No trophy, sword, nor hatchment o'er his bones,

No noble rite nor formal ostentation,

Cry to be heard, as 'twere from heaven to earth,

That I must call't in question.

Is the underlined phrase an adjective phrase or an adverb phrase? The true king of the beasts is the elephant.
-------------------
A.
adjective phrase

B.
adverb phrase

Answers

Answer: The underlined phrase ("The true king") is A. an adjective phrase.

Explanation: An adjective phrase is a group of words that modifies a noun or pronoun by describing it. Moreover, this type of phrase always contains an adjective which can appear at the beginning, at the middle or at the end of the phrase. "The true king" is an adjective phrase because it includes the adjective "true", which has been placed at the middle of the phrase. Furthermore, in this case, "true" is premodifying (and describing) the noun "king".

True describes the king so it's an adjective phrase.
