The US customary system is a horrible, horrible thing. We want to divide this quart into 3 containers using customary units. Let's look at smaller customary units and see how that does us.
1 quart = 2 pints, so 1/3 quart = 2/3 pint. We still don't have whole numbers, so let's keep going.
1 pint = 2 cups, so 2/3 pint = 4/3 cup. Since we have a whole cup now, we leave that and keep going with the 1/3 c.
1 cup = 8 fluid ounces, so 1/3 cup = 8/3 fl. oz. 8/3 fl. oz. = 2 fl. oz. + 2/3 fl. oz. Can you see where this is going?
So our answer is 1 cup, 2 fluid ounces, 1 tablespoon, and 1 teaspoon. (if you wanted that all in one unit, it'd have to be 64 tsp.)
How many # of pi do you know
Answers
No one knows how many numbers there are of pi. This is because pi goes on FOREVER and EVER. It NEVER stops it is a never ending number. So, when working in math we usually round it down to 3.14. When ever solving for pi the equal sign is always like ≈ because this means equal to since we don't know the really amount of numbers in pi.
Hope I helped ya!!
I know the number as far as- 3.1415926535
