Which of the following is an example of a predator-prey relationship? birds feed off the flies that swarm around buffalo a rabbit population is the main source of food for a certain fox population ticks can attach and live on the blood of bison in their attempt to obtain nectar from blooms, bees transfer flower pollen from site to site]

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: 'A rabbit population is the main source of food for a certain fox population' is the correct answer, because the first example shows a mutualistic relationship, the third shows a parasitic relationship, and the final one shows another mutualistic relationship.

In this assignment, you will apply your understanding of Darwin’s theory of evolution by exploring the relationship between natural selection and evolution. You will do this by controlling natural selection in an interactive population. Read the article and use what you learn to complete the following questions. Natural Selection and Evolution Not all members of a species are the same. Every species exhibits . For example, some beetles are green, while others are brown. Not all individuals in a population will survive to reproduce. Those that do, pass their to their offspring.

How is a baby formed? Biology

Answers

- Around three days after conception, the zygote is partitioning quick into numerous cells.

- It goes through the fallopian tube into the uterus, The afterbirth, which will sustain the infant, additionally begins to shape.

First step is fertilization aka conception!!! The process of fertilization goes like this. The sperm goes up the fallopian tube to fertilize the an egg. The sperm passes the female private part called the "vajayjay or love tunnel" (slang term for the real girl part, which I don't believe I am allowed to say) and past the cervix area and  up the uterus.

The Ovary aka the egg has already made it's way to the fallopian tube.

Ovum: the sperm aka little fish must penetrate the outer egg membrane or the ovum.

Only one of the sperms will be lucky enough to penetrate the ovum out of thousands or millions of sperms.

Implantation is the next step . Woman has amniotic fluid that collects in the uterus and this fluid will be the liquid that protects the baby.

Blastocyst: refers to a ball of multiplying cells

Embryo: the cells that form the embryo form in two layers

Placental cells: creates the placenta which is the baby's lifeline so to speak. The nutrients flow from the placenta to the baby.

The above terms is the beginning parts of how a baby is formed. I tried to keep this in layman's term. If you need me to explain something differently just let me know.

One of the ways that plant systems and tissues work together is in the transport of materials such as water, called transpiration. In transpiration, water is taken into the plant and then evaporates out of the leaves. First, water is taken in through pores in the dermal tissue of the roots and brought to the xylem of the vascular tissue. The vascular tissue then transports it up through the stem and into the leaves. Once in the parenchyma cells of the ground tissue of the leaves, photosynthesis and cellular respiration occur, using that water. The water is then released through guard cells of the dermal tissue into the atmosphere. Which of the following tissues and systems were involved in transpiration? Check all that apply. roots stem leaves dermal tissue vascular tissue ground tissue

Answers

Answer:

The correct answer will be-

Roots, stem, leaves, dermal layer, vascular tissue, dermal tissue and the ground tissue (All of them).

Explanation:

Transpiration is a process involved in the suction of the water from the ground tissue as transpiration is the loss of water from the leaves.

The transpiration begins with the absorption of the water from the soil through epidermis which is a part of the dermal tissue. The water is then transported through xylem which is a part of the vascular tissue in the stem. The water then reaches the leaves in parenchyma cells especially which is ground tissue and then is released through stomata a part of the dermal tissue.

Thus, all of them is the correct answer.
