What causes sweating during running in order to maintain homeostasis

Answers

Homeostasis is defined as a constant, steady environment despite external changes, such as exercise. Exercise affects your body temperature, blood oxygen levels, sugar levels and hydration – all properties necessary for your survival. Your body uses an automatic feedback system to preserve normal temperature and water levels, so you can keep exercising. Eat properly and drink plenty of fluids to help your body maintain homeostasis. You need to drink and eat properly.

They are essential to life.

B.
They carry signals.

C.
They are water soluble.

D.
They act as a source of energy

Answers

I did a quick search and found the diagram. Let's go through these and solve by elimination.

B. Proteins can act as receptors which I guess could be considered a signal, but the rest of the molecules do not. B is incorrect.

C. Lipids are not water soluble. An example of lipids are fats, and oils. Have you ever tried combining water and oil? Think about salad dressing, it does not mix. C is incorrect.

D. Carbohydrates and lipids are sources of energy, but nucleic acids and proteins are not. D is incorrect.

The answer is A. because we know that our bodies are made up of nucleic acids, protein, fats, and we need carbohydrates in order to live normal, healthy lives.

A. They are Essential to Life

What would happen to temperatures on earth the suns heat were distributed throughout the atmosphere

Answers

If the sun's heat is distributed uniformly throughout the atmosphere, this will ensure that each point on the earth gets a moderate level of heat and temperature in these locations will be within the acceptable level.
If the sun's heat is concentrated in one part of the atmosphere, the location that correspond to the point of concentration will receive enormous amount of heat from the sun, which will shoot up the temperature of that location. This will leads to all manner of disruptions in the ecosystem that is found in that location.
For example, California's water cycle was on hold because we did not have any rain. The weather has been dry warm, so all of the water is being evaporated, but never reaching the precipitation phase of the cycle.

How does the Doppler effect related to the universal expanding?

Answers

The Doppler effect doesn't just apply to sound. It works with all types of waves, which includes light. Edwin Hubble used the Doppler effect to determine that the universe is expanding. Hubble found that the light from distant galaxies was shifted toward lower frequencies, to the red end of the spectrum. This is known as a red Doppler shift, or a red-shift. If the galaxies were moving toward Hubble, the light would have been blue-shifted.
