Well Id say C because I know a lot of people who go and by a at home hiv test and some go to the doctor and check, but once my friend was at the doctors and they asked him if he liked male or females he said both thinking they meant as friends. Give three examples of prefixes or suffixes used to indicate patronymic names and an example of each (ex. -son, Erickson). Do not use the example.

Some of the examples are listed below:

1) The prefix "Mac" means "son". "Mc" is an anglicized version that is used in Scotland and Ireland. It is patronym and the female equivalent is Nic. Example is Mackenzie.

2) Prefix fitz has the same meaning with suffix son which the former has been used from Norman times. Therefore, there are examples such as Fitzgerald and Fitzpatrick.

3) In Dutch language, are composed of the combination of father's name and ending. The suffixes are zoon for sons, dochter for daughters. For example, Janszoon and Simonsdochter.

1) "s", similar to a genitive ending. (suffix)

For example the surname "Adams" means "the son of Adam".

2) "fitz" (at the begining of the word: a prefix), for example Fitzjohn: the son of John.

True. False

Answers

The correct answer for the first question is True. They believed that people were innately good and could find that good inside of them. The second one is false. Although they held each other in high regards, there's no specific evidence that he was inspired by him as Whitman came from a poor family and was never really that educated until later in his life. The third is also true. That is one of the reasons why Thoreau wrote "On Civil Disobedience"

Romanticists and Transcendentalists had different approaches to self-improvement. Whitman was inspired by Emerson. Transcendentalists believed in the value of democracy.

1. False. While both Romanticists and Transcendentalists believed in the capacity for self-improvement, they had different approaches and focuses. Romanticists believed in individual self-expression and the power of imagination, while Transcendentalists emphasized the role of intuition and inner wisdom.

2. True. Walt Whitman, a prominent poet, was indeed influenced by the ideas of Ralph Waldo Emerson, one of the key figures of Transcendentalism.

3. True. Transcendentalists like Emerson and Thoreau valued democracy and the individual's ability to think independently and make decisions for themselves.
