How are the symbols written for alleles that share incomplete dominance?
Tysm ily ;)

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: In incomplete dominance, heterozygous phenotype is intermediate between two homozygous phenotypes. In this case, the symbols for alleles are capital letters. For example, allele A is responsible for red color of a flower, allele B is responsible for white color of the flower. Red flower plants have AA genotype, and white flower plants have BB genotype. By crossing plants with red flowers and white flowers, due to incomplete variance, the offspring will be heterozygozs plants (AB) with neither red nor white flowers, but pink flowers. Pink flowers have intermediate color between red and white flowers.

Explain how precipitation affects which plants grow in a area?

Answers

Answer:

Percipitation helps plant growth because when the water falls, the plants suck the water up through the roots when the water seeps through the dirt that the plant is in, once the water is in the plant, it benefits the plant because without it, the plant will shrivil up and die

HELP MEE!The following table describes five molecules that belong to the same class.Molecule Function
Hemoglobin transports oxygen in the blood
Amylase an enzyme that breaks down starch
Immunoglobulin an antibody produced in response to an invading particle
Collagen the main structural component of connective tissues
Aquaporin transports water in and out of the cell

Which class of biomolecule do the molecules in the table belong to?

A.
carbohydrates
B.
lipids
C.
proteins
D.
nucleic acids

Answers

Ans.

Hemoglobin, amylase, immunoglobulin, collagen, and aquaporin are molecules that belong to a common class of biomolecules, known as proteins. Proteins are made up of polypeptide chains, in which amino acids are connected together with the help of peptide bonds.

Hemoglobin and immunoglobulins are made up of four polypeptide chains, collagen is are made up of three polypeptide chains, while amylase and aquaporin are made up of single polypeptide chain.

Thus, the correct answer is 'option c). proteins.'

C. Proteins

this is a for sure answer lol:)

What is the importance of root cap

Answers

The root cap is a small structure but one that serves a very important function for a plant. Protecting the root apical meristem allows for primary growth in the root, which paves the way for lengthening of the plant as well as cell specialization.

Which of the following structures produces proteins in both eukaryotic andprokaryotic cells?
A. Nucleus
B. Cytoplasm
C. Mitochondrion
D. Ribosome

Answers

The answer is D. Ribosome

Answer:Cells need to make proteins. ... While a structure such as a nucleus is only found in eukaryotes, every cell needs ribosomes to manufacture proteins. Since there are no membrane-bound organelles in prokaryotes, the ribosomes float free in the cytosol. Ribosomes are found in many places around a eukaryotic cell.
