Dominic's water jug holds 1.25 quarts. Terrell says he can - 1

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: he is not correct you have to multiply 1.25 and 32

a way that I found this out is by using proportions

in one quart there are 32 fluid ounces
so I did
1/32=1.25/x
x=the number of fluid ounces
then I cross multiplied
getting
1x=32×1.25

32×1.25=40
so there is 40 fluid ounces in 1.25 quarts

hope this helps
