Choose the response below that demonstrates the correct form of contraction for the words below. you are
a. you're
b. your

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: The question is about the advice that belongs to the doctor. The apostrophe is used to show possession. Since there is only one doctor involved, the apostrophe appears after the r.
The answer is:
a. the doctor's advice

There are two spellings of the word "your", each with a different meaning. One is about possession; eg. "it is your fault, not mine!"
The other is a shortened version of "you are". The "re" at the end of "you're" is the end of the "are". That is the clue as to what it means.
The answer is:
a. you're

In fact, even in many societies where "true love" is not considered a form of insanity, arranged marriages are still the norm. For example, in many cultures it's believed that marriage is basically an economic arrangement. Thus, a farmer needs a wife both to bear children and to share the farm work while raising new "hands" as additional farm labor. In other societies, marriage is mainly about cementing connections between families. Indeed, most marriages between members of European royal or aristocratic lineages were primarily aimed at creating trust, loyalty, and mutual obligations between privileged and powerful families. 10. The plot of the Giant house by Elizabeth mccracken

Answers

Peggy Cort is a lonely spinster librarian living on 1950s Cape Cod when an unusual young boy comes into her libarary. He is James Sweatt and he is already taller than any boys in his school and growing at a rapid rate. The book covers the slow friendship that develops between Peggy and James the Giant. Peggy is there when James gets injured, when his mother dies and when he travels.

Peggy realizes about halfway through the book that she is in love with the young giant but doesn't quite know what to do with her emotions. She helps his family build him a giant-sized cottage behind their house. She tries to set him up with a girl his own age as a teenager but eventually his friends grow up and leave and he is left with Peggy as his primary friend to help him deal with the tourists and gawkers who come to see the boy who won't stop growing.

When he is over eight feet tall and nineteen the two go to New York City to participate in the circus. While they are there he meets the smallest woman in the world who talks to him of marriage and he asks Peggy if she wants to get married. They talk about it but nothing comes of it and after they return, although they have declared their love for each other it is too late and the giant is already becoming sicker and dies soon after.

n at least two to three paragraphs, write an essay where you analyze the tone the character Marullus uses to express his interpretation of Caesar's return. Then explain how this is similar or different from the interpretation the painter has depicted? Use specific examples to support your observations. Use proper spelling and grammar.

Answers

His tone is that of someone that is worried or even alarmed at Caesar’s return after he defeated his rival and also former co-ruler Pompey. Marullus knew that this victory would mean that Caesar will be the most powerful man in Rome. For this same reason he felt in a very dangerous position. He assumed that Caesar would soon impose one-man rule. Marullus joins Flavius who feels the same way to try and put a stop to Caesar.  It is clear that the interpretation the painter has depicted is very different. This is apparent when you compare the painting to the word that Marullus himself used to describe the return of Caesar. In the painting it seems as though Marullus is impressed by Caesar’s feat. I believe he was just putting up a front while deep down he felt disgusted just looking at caesar in his glory moment. hope this helps
