What is the main reason so many settlers moved west of the appalachian mountains in the early 1800s?

Answers

The main reason for the westward migration of settlers in the early 1800s was the availability of new and fertile farmland.

The development of the US into the western regions was driven by a craving for land and the chance to cultivate and construct new homes.

As the populace developed and the interest in food expanded, numerous pioneers considered the West to be a place that is known for new chances at life, where they could begin once more and break the swarmed and frequently run-down region of the East.

The Louisiana Buy in 1803 and the launch of the outskirts through government drives like the Property Act additionally filled this toward the west movement.

Describe and explain the advantages and disadvantages tourism brings to that country (kenya)

Answers

Tourism in Kenya provides an income for the local economy, as tourists produce jobs for the locals. Therefore, unemployment rates are lower. In addition to this tourists get a greater understanding for the animals, plants and culture of Kenya. Areas such as Serengeti which is used for an African safari provide again, wider understanding of animals and animal migration.
Furthermore, infrastructure has been invested in meaning there are more roads, ports and airports so there is more tourism and more income. The income is then used to invest in better education and health care systems. However,  the disadvantages of tourism in Kenya are; transport would damage the land, eroding grass destroying plants and animals habitats as well as trees and other vegetation being destroyed in order to build roads. Also, the idea of most profit from tourism would go to multi national companies in MEDC's as they would build hotels etc. In addition to that, the loss of traditions and culture meaning people way of life would be changed, and the methods of living has altered to suit the tourist industry.
