Answer 1
Answer: 35/5= 7 cm so we have found ''d'' of a circle. R=1/2 d =3.5 cm
The triangle base contains of three full circles 3*7=21 cm + 2 half circles which make a full one =7
AB= 7+21=28 CM
To find the height CH (Name the triangle ABC and the height CH) we do the same calculation. 2 half circles= 1 full + 1 full = 2 full = 2*7=14 cm.
The area is : AB*CH/2 = 28*14/2= 196 cm 2
I hope you understood because it's not the way I am used to explain Math exercises, because of my native Albanian language :)

Write 5 1/3% as a fraction in simplest form

Answers

5+1/3=                                                                                                              15/3+1/3=                                                                                                        16/3
In order to find 5 1/3% as a fraction, first convert to an improper fraction...

5 1/3% = 16/3%

To convert % to a fraction we divide by 100...

16/3% = 16/3 ÷ 100

To divide fractions we multiply the reciprocal of the divisor...

16/3 ÷ 100 =
16/3 × 1/100 =

Now multiply

16/3 × 1/100 = 16/300

Now reduce

16/300 = 8/150 = 4/75

5 1/3% = 4/75

What is the slope of a line perpendicular to the line y=8x+1

Answers

Answer:

Slope of a line perpendicular to the line y=8x+1 is (-1)/(8)

Solution:

Given y=8x+1

The slope - intercept form equation of line is given as

y = mx + c --- eqn 1

Where m is the slope of the line.

The coefficient of “x” is the value of slope of the line.

"c" is the y – intercept which is the value of y at the point where the line crosses the y-axis

From question, given that y = 8x + 1

Comparing the given equation y=8x+1 with equation 1, we get

m = 8 and c = 1

The equation of a perpendicular line to y=8x+1 must have a slope that is the negative reciprocal of the original slope.

\mathrm{m}_{\text {reciprocal }}=-(1)/(8)

Hence the slope of the line perpendicular to the line y=8x+1 is  (-1)/(8)

Mrs. Rowan allotted 30 minutes at the beginning of class for her students to complete an exam. The last student took 42 minutes to complete the exam. What is Mrs. Rowan's percent error?

Answers

Using percentage concepts, it is found that Mrs. Rowan percent error is of 40%.

  • The percent error is given by the extra time afforded multiplied by 100% and divided by the allotted time.

In this problem:

  • Allotted time of 30 minutes.
  • The last student took 42 minutes to complete the exam, thus the extra time afforded was of 12 minutes.

The percent error is:

P = (12)/(30) * 100\% = 0.4 * 100\% = 40\%

The percent error is of 40%.

A similar problem is given at brainly.com/question/16903296

Step-by-step explanation:

Percent error = |actual − theoretical| / actual × 100%

|42 − 30| / 42 × 100% = 28.6%
