Answer: Most Quickly

Explanation:

When Lyddie arrives at the tavern, she stands outside for a minute, thinking. "Once I walk in that gate, I ain't free anymore....No matter how handsome the house, once I enter I'm a servant girl" (18). To what extent is Lyddie's prediction correct?

Answers

She would be a servant girl if she were abducted or hired to work there for a wealthy man, as servant girls in the past have walked through the gate of the guy who hired them and weren't allowed to leave.

What do you mean by Servant?

Servant is a person who serves others by carrying out their tasks, particularly a domestic helper or personal attendant.

Outside Cutler's Tavern's fence, Lyddie arrives. The Stevenses' farmhouse was smaller than the bar. When Lyddie approaches the gate, she has the thought that she will no longer be free; instead, she will be a servant girl, the same as a black slave. She observes a grand-looking woman in a pink silk dress being dropped off by a stagecoach to check into the Tavern. As she greeted them outside the tavern, a woman turned to look at Lyddie.

Therefore, If she were kidnapped or hired to work there by a wealthy man, she would be a servant girl because in the past, servant girls would enter the man's gate and were not allowed to leave.
