Once the writer of a critical essay has read a novel carefully enough to say something sensible about it, the next step is _____. refining the outline setting limits finding evidence drafting the essay

Answers

Answer:

refining the outline

Explanation:

Making sure that your text is going to be well divided, organized, and clear in many ways is something that you should be able to do before even writing the first lines. The structure will be very dependent on your intentions and those should be clear now that you finished reading the novel. So before writing, you must think of what to write.

Refining the outline is the correct answer.

Which of the following sentences has a dangling modifier? A. When the storm began to abate, we went home. B. By the light of the moon, I tripped over a rock. C. The dog that is man's best friend is cat's worst enemy. D. On the way to the bank, the interest rates went down.

Answers

"B. By the light of the moon, I tripped over a rock" would be the only sentence with a dangling modifier, since in this case it is unclear what exactly is being modified, since the moon light and the tripping incident could be two, separate events in time.

It means "After that, therefore on account of that". It's a label given to the particular error in logic where we decide that something happened after a certain even, so the event must have caused it. I feel good that I'm able to do so much for the world, especially for roosters, surfers, and farmers. -- My cousin's pediatrician's mailman's barber used to get a lot of kidney stones. Four years ago, he started drinking a cup of lemon juice every day, and he hasn't had any more since then. I'm going to write and tell Dr. Oz about this new miracle cure.

A student wants to express her excitement to friends about getting her driver’s license. Which type of writing would not be appropriate for this audience and purpose? an e-mail a handwritten note a text message a newspaper editorial

Answers

a newspaper editorial... if you're trying to directly tell your friends of your excitement, you won't put that up in a news paper... maybe social media, because yer a twit, but not a news paper

The type of writing is expository the inappropriate writing here is a newspaper editorial. However i don't like these types of questions because in real life people have something called "free will" so if the student REALLY wanted to share it in a newspaper editorial they probably could. It's not like we don't have irrelevant news these days anyway!
