Identifying Properties of Congruent Prisms
Which properties are necessary to claim that the two
prisms are congruent? Check all that apply.
The lengths of corresponding edges are in a 1:1
ratio.
The volumes are equal.
Corresponding angles have different measures.
Corresponding faces are not congruent.
The base areas are equal.
The prisms have the same height.

Answers

The prisms are congruent if the lengths of corresponding edges are in a 1:1  ratio, the volumes and the base areas are equal and the prisms have same height

Step-by-step explanation:

For the two prisms to be congruent the following properties should hold TRUE

The lengths of corresponding edges are in a 1:1  ratio.

The volumes are equal.

The base areas are equal.

The prisms have the same height.

What is the answer for 2,4,6.....please show work and need answer asap.....thank you

You've been working with rectangular prisms all night, and the same formula gives the volume of every one of them.  Unfortunately, you used way more time asking other people for answers than it would take you to solve them on your own.

The formula is:

Volume  =  (length)  times  (width)  times  (height) .

With that formula, you can directly solve problems #1, #2, #3,
#4, and #8.  It's also the only math you really need to solve #9 ...
but you also need to use your brain cells for #9.

For #6, start with the same formula:

                                     Volume = (length) x (width) x (height)

Divide each side by
(width) x (height), and
then it says:               Length = (volume) / (width x height) .

#6 gives you the volume, width and height.
You can just write them into this equation,
and bada-bing, you'll have the missing length.

the total volume of a cube is 360 inches to the third power how do you write 2 different possible sets of diminsions for the cube

Answers

If it's really a cube, then it can have only one set of dimensions.
Actually, only one dimension ... the length of every edge is the
same number.

The volume of a cube is the cube of its edge length.  So the
length of every edge is the cube root of its volume.

But the dimension can sometimes be written in different ways.

Volume = 360 inch³

Edge length =  ∛(360 inch³)

                    = ∛360  inches

                    =  3 ∛(13 and 1/3)  inches

                    =  4 ∛5.625  inches

                    =  5 ∛2.88    inches

                    =  6 ∛(1 and 2/3)  inches  .

Well,

Since it's a cube, there will only be one real dimension, and that will be the cube root of 360.

\sqrt[3]{360} = 2\sqrt[3]{45}\ inches

The only way to write different dimensions is to write using different units.

12 in. = 1 ft.

\frac{2\sqrt[3]{45}}{12} = \frac{\sqrt[3]{45}}{6}\ feet

3/5 is already in simplest form, therefore cannot be simplified any further.

Which of the following numbers has the smallest value? 19.45 19.445 19.5 19.454

Answers

19.445 is the answer as you can see...
first you need to see the 1 decimal place which is like the number smaller than 1, eg:0.5,0.4 then later you see the 2 decimal place and later third on order to find out...
19.445 if you didnt round it to the nearest hundredth. so technically the answer is 19.45

Danny charges $35 for three hours of swimming lessons mart charges $24 for two hours of swimming lessons who offers a better deal

Answers

Matt offers the better deal. He is exactly $1 dollar cheaper then Danny. In other to find this out i had to find what Matt charged per hour, so i took 24 divide 2 and got 12. So i learned that he charges 12 an hour. Then i added 12 to 24 to make 3 hours of lessons to match what Danny offers. It was $34 which makes it Matt's deal cheaper by $1.
Danny. Danny offers lessons for about $11/hr while mart charges $12
