Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Answer:

A)

Explanation:

  • Parenthetical citation should include the author's last name and the page of the number that is used in providing some information in the text. Since we don't have the page number here in the text, there should be the last name in the parenthetical citation.

If there is used author's name in the Sentence there should be only the number of the page in a parenthetical citation.

  • This kind of citations are allowing readers to know which sources the writer was using in writing an essay.

What do you mean by diect and indirect object?

In English sentence structure, an aberrant article is the word or expression that gets the immediate item. In the sentence The educator gave the understudies cake, the backhanded article is the understudies. The immediate article is cake, and the understudies are the ones who eat it.

An immediate item is the article where the action word is following up on. For instance, in the sentence He sold his vehicle, vehicle is an immediate item. A backhanded item is the beneficiary of the immediate article, as in The man gave his significant other a neckband.Jewelry is the immediate article, and spouse is the roundabout article.

The immediate article is what the subject follows up on, so in that last sentence, grain is the immediate article; it's what Jake ate. A roundabout item is a discretionary piece of a sentence; it's the beneficiary of an activity.

What ways is chapter 4 of the story of my life by helen kller similar to a short story?

Answers

Chapter 4 is very important to Helen Keller’s life. It explains when her teacher was first teaching her how to communicate. Without her teacher Helen  probably would not have been able to communicate well or tell people what she wanted. It also demonstrated the way her teacher taught and how Helen reacted. I think that in this chapter Helen learned a little responsibly and learned from her actions. I think that it will make it easier for her because the teacher is helping her learn in ways that no one not even her family and friends could. I think that the teaching will also help her conquer great things in other parts of the book as well because she can be taught she just has to focus. Maybe she will get even closer to her family because of what happened. She learned in this chapter how to match words with what they were. I think this will also help her later in the book. One thing that stuck with me is after learning how to spell doll in the palm of her hand she went to show her mother. This shows that she probably had a good relationship with her mom and she cared what she thought about her. This chapter also showed that people underestimated Helen’s ability’s to learn and communicate with others.   I do not think that this will be the most important chapter of the book because so many other great things could happen to her throughout the book. It might very well be the most important but I’m just not quite sure about that. I do have to say this may be one of the most important parts. I do think  that the most important chapter will be coming along in the book soon because what happened in this one.

Do I have to capitalize the word Pizza in Mike and Mary's Pizza

Answers

It depends.

'Mike and Mary's Pizza' is most likely a place, and a noun is a person, place, or thing. If it is a person's name, a place (such as a street name, name of a place, a city, a country, a town..) it must be capitalized. Just regular English rules.

Now, if the Mike and Mary HAD a pizza, you would not need to capitalize pizza considering it is the object. Here's an example of a sentence where you wouldn't need to capitalize pizza - "Mike and Mary's pizza was cheese." Now here's an example of where you would want to capitalize pizza - "I am headed to Mike and Mary's Pizza to get some food."
Yes if its part of a title.

Red Cloud Part B Charles A. Eastman The grammatical errors in this passage are intentional. 1 (12) I once asked Red Cloud if he could recall having ever been afraid, for in reply he told me this story. He was about sixteen years old and had already been once or twice upon the warpath, when one fall his people were hunting in the Big Horn country, where they might expect trouble at any moment with the hostile Crows or Shoshones. (13) Red Cloud had followed a single buffalo bull into the Bad Lands and being out of sight and hearing of his companions. When he had brought down his game, he noted carefully every feature of his surroundings so that he might at once detect anything unusual, and tied his horse with a long lariat to the horn of the dead bison, while skinning and cutting up the meat so as to pack it to camp. (14) Every few minutes he paused in his work to scrutinize the landscape if he had a feeling that danger was not far off. 2 Suddenly, almost over his head, as it seemed, he heard a tremendous war whoop, and glancing sidewise, thought he beheld the charge of an overwhelming number of warriors. (15) He tried desperately to give the usual undaunted war whoop in reply, but instead a yell of terror burst from his lips, his legs gave way under him, and he fell in a heap. When he realized, the next instant, that the war whoop was merely the sudden loud whinnying of his own horse, and the charging army a band of fleeing elk, he was so ashamed of himself that he never forgot the incident, although up to that time he had never mentioned it. Suddenly, without warning, he sneezed, and instantly a strong man sprang to a sitting posture opposite. (22) The first gray of morning will be creeping into their rocky den, and behold! a Ute hunter sat before him. 6 (23) Desperate as the situation appeared, it wasn’t like it was terrible. Neither could afford to take his eyes from the other’s; the tension was great, till at last a smile wavered over the expressionless face of the Ute.
