Cardiovascular Problems: Anabolic steroid abuse has been associated with cardiovascular issues. It can lead to an increase in blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, and an increased risk of developing cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes, even in young individuals. Liver Damage: Prolonged abuse of anabolic steroids can put excessive strain on the liver. Steroids are metabolized by the liver, and high doses or long-term use can cause liver damage.
