How does the author create and maintain tension during the scene at the cornucopia?hunger games chapter 21

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Answer:

The tension in this chapter is created by the mere fact of survival.

Explanation:

This scene is one of the most tense in the book. Katniss finds herself in front of something she was not aware of and she discovers as she goes.

She believes that the cornucopia would be a great feast or something like that and yet she realizes that the cornucopia is the key to survival. There, she and the other participants will find the weapons they need to win the hunger games, as well as things necessary to survive.

The scene is a great fight where people begin to die in front of Katniss until she realizes that she was also in danger and needed to move.

This is how she gets her bow and arrow and once she gets them she can walk away from the cornucopia.

Read the passage from Sugar Changed the World. When the prophet Muhammad began preaching in A.D. 610, he attracted only a few disciples. Yet by the time he died in 632, his faith had spread throughout Arabia. By 642, the armies of Muslim conquerors, along with the arguments of the Muslim faithful, took the religion all across Syria, Iraq, parts of Iran, and Egypt. From there, Islam spread through North Africa along the Mediterranean, across to the Iberian Peninsula, and over to France. Islam's march into Europe ended in 732, when the French defeated the Muslim armies at the battle of Poitiers. But that was not all. Muslim rulers took Alexander's old lands in Afghanistan and then, from there, swept through to conquer northern India. The pagan tribes of Central Asia chose Islam. By conversion or conquest, Islam, the religion of Muhammad, won over nearly all the lands of the ancient world: Egypt, Persia, India, and the Christian Mediterranean.Which text features would be most helpful to support the central idea of the passage? Answers

I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is option A. The author of “ the high school step team “ reveals Karla's character to readers by describing what Karla says, does, and thinks. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.

The answer is: a. what karla says, does, and thinks

The author presents to the reader Karla’s character by showing her thoughts and what she says and does.

For example, there is a part of the story where is thinking about how her cousin has nonverbal reactions “As Karla turned away from Jade and walked down the hall towards math class, she pictured her cousin shrugging her shoulders.”

In other we can also how she prevent herself from learning "It's something like math," she though silently, "but not exactly the same. I have to connect my brain to my body, and make it move or stop at exactly the right moment. The key here is to execute every movement skillfully."
