What key factors led to the American victory at Saratoga

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: The Americans won the Battle of Saratoga due to a few factors. In the British army, General John Burgoyne was coming down into Albany from Canada with his troops, while Sir William Howe was supposed to be coming north from New Jersey and New York City. They were going to surround and defeat the Americans. However, instead of going to Albany, Howe attacked Philadelphia. At the same time, Burgoyne's supply line to Canada was becoming less reliable. This lack of both man power and supplies on the British side helped the Americans win the Battle of Saratoga.

Though, after this attack, the strength of his troops was weakened but he again decided to attack Americans who were at Bemis and this attack took place on October 7, but this time Americans were ready and they defeated troops of Burgoyne and that forced him to retreat back.

Post that he surrendered after 10 days of American’s Victory and that was the reason which convinced the French Government to recognize the colonists' cause and entered the war as the ally of the United States. When the revolutionary war of America was approaching two-year point, The British suddenly changed their plans and decided to isolate new England from Southern colonies.

What caused the formation of the Whig Party

Answers

The Whig Party was founded in the winter of 1833-1834 in Washington by national republicans such as Henry Clay and John Quincy Adams, as well as Southerners such as W. P. Mangum. Initially the Whig party had as its axis of action the opposition to policies headed by Andrew Jackson, especially the transfer of the deposit of the Second Bank of the United States. The party also attracted the support of rights defenders from Southern states, such as John Tyler, offended by the strong nationalism that Jackson maintained against South Carolina during the Nullification crisis. The Whigs also promoted the supremacy of Congress over the executive actions taken by Jackson, such as moving deposits from the bank without the consent of Congress, or vetoing the bank's recharge. Ridiculing "King Andrew," the American Whigs took the name of the English Whig Party, which opposed the power of the monarchy and supported Parliamentary control.

The Whig party was formed in 1834 to oppose what its members considered the heavy-handed and tyrannical presidency of Andrew Jackson and his Democratic Party.

This is a very difficult argument.  Civilians must never be victims of war and the army must do all that it can to avoid inflicting casualties on civilians.  The difficulty here is that terrorists often hide within civilian surroundings and use civilians as shields.  What government needs is not only better technology but better intelligence. Still, as hard as it sounds, so long as civilians are in the line of fire, there will be victims.
