Can someone help me with this graph
Can someone help me with this graph - 1

Answer 1
Answer: just plot the points on the graph so if x+y=-6 just make a list of all of the points that will work (remember that the left-to-right line is x and the up-to-down line is y, and right and up is positive and left and down is negative)

so make a list (in graphs we write [x,y] or (x,3))   so here are some points that will work
(-3,-3)
(-4,-2)
(-2,-4)
(-1,-5)
(-5,-1)
(0,-6)
(-6,0)
(-7,1)
(1,-7)
and so on, just plot those points and more that will work for x+y=-6 and you should be good,

there is another way that this is supposed to be done but this way is easier

True or false: is a rectangular also a square

I do not believe so, because a square is in the rectangle family. If a rectangle was in the square family, it would have to have all sides the same length, wich wouldnt make it a rectangle anymore.

What are the formulas for the volume of a cylinder and come ?

Answers

Volume of a cylinder: π * r^2 * h

Volume of a cone: 1/3 of the volume of a cylinder. V = π * r^2 * h/3

Explanation: r is the radius, h is the height, and if needed, you can use 3.14 for π

Answer:

The volume of a cylinder is: π × r2 × h

The volume of a cone is: 1 3 π × r2 × h

Simplify the given equation. 5x + 2(x - 3) = -2(x - 1)

Answers

on the left side, distribute the 2 to x and -3 so the left side should look like 5x+2x-6.

on the right, distribute the -2 to x and -1 so the right side should look like -2x+2.

combine like terms on the left to get 7x-6=-2x+2

add -2x from the right side to the left side to make the equation 9x-6=2 now it's a two step equation.
add 6 to 2 to get 9x=8. divide by 9 and x=8/9.

A car travels 70 miles in 80 minutes. Which is its average speed per minute?a. 11 miles
b. 8.75 miles
c. 1.14 miles
d. 0.875 miles User: gopd

Answers

Answer:

The average speed per minute of the car is :

d. 0.875(mi)/(min)

Step-by-step explanation:

The average speed tells you the speed of an object over time, it can be expressed as:

A_(s)=(Distance)/(Time)

As the car travels 70 miles in 80 minutes, we can replace values in the equation:

Distance = 70 miles

Time = 80 minutes

A_(s)=(Distance)/(Time)

A_(s)=(70miles)/(80minutes)

A_(s)=0.875(mi)/(min)

70/80 = miles per minute.
70/80 = 0.857 miles per minute

Answer: d. 0.875 miles
