Answer 1
Answer:

Total 41/50 fraction or 82% part of turkey was eaten.

What is a fraction?

A fraction is a numeral that represents a rational number.

Let a and b be two numbers, then their fraction can be represented as a/b.

Given that,

Fraction of turkey eaten by Uncle Bill  = 1/4,

Percentage of turkey  eaten by Chris = 15%,

Part of turkey eaten by Timmy = 0.3 or 3/10,

Percentage of turkey eaten by Dave = 12%.

To find the fraction of turkey that was eaten,

Convert percentage into fraction

Since, percentage of turkey  eaten by Chris = 15%,

Fraction value of turkey eaten by Chris = 3/20

Also, percentage of turkey eaten by Dave = 12%.

Fraction value of turkey eaten by Dave = 3/25

Total fraction of turkey that was eaten = 1/4+3/20+3/10+3/25

                                              = (25+15+30+12)/100

                                               = 82/100

                                               = 41/50

41/50 faction of turkey was eaten.

Answer 2
Answer: (1 / 4) = .25
.25 * 100% = 25%
Uncle Bill ate 25%
Cousin Chris ate 15%
.3 * 100% = 30%
Cousin Timmy ate 30%
Little Dave ate 12%
You ate none.

Cousin Timmy ate the most, 18% of the turkey is left, and 82% of the turkey was eaten.

What is the theoretical probability that the coin will land on tails

Answers

1/2 cause their are two probabilities out of 2
heads = 1
tails = 1
A coin would land on tails about 50% considering there is 2 sides to it, if it had to land on it again then 1/4.

My brother is 5 years older than me. My sister is 3 years younger than me.a. How old was I be when my brother was 10?
b. How old will my sister be when my brother is 29?
c. How old will my sister be when I am n years old?
d. How old was I when my brother was k years old?
e. How much is my brother older than my sister?

Answers

Answer:

A) You would be 5

B) She would be 21

C) (Im guessing n in 9?)  She would be 6 then

D) (idk what k is)

E)7 Years apart

Hope this helps

Step-by-step explanation:

Say you are X years old, your brother is Y years old, are your sister is Z years old.

Your brother is 5 years older than you can be shown as the equation:

Y = X + 5

or

X = Y - 5

Your sister is 3 years younger than you can be shown as:

Z = X - 3

or

X = Z + 3

(a) When your brother was 10, X = 10 - 5, so you were 5.

(b) When your brother is 29, X = 29 - 5, so you were 24. When you were 24, Z = 24 - 3, your sister was 21.

(c) When you were n, you can just use the equation above, but switch the variables: Z = N - 3.

(d) When your brother was K: X = K - 5

(e) Y = X + 5 and X = Z + 3

Y = (Z + 3) + 5

Y = Z + 8

So your brother is 8 years older than your sister.

A cooking club has 10 members. how many ways can they select a president and vice president from among the members?A. 180
B. 20
C. 100
D. 90

Answers

There are 10 possible ways to select a president from the club, because their are 10 available members to choose from.

After a president is chosen, their are 9 possible ways to select a vice president, because one of the members will already have the position of president, so they can't be vice president (10-1=9)

Now we just multiply to possibilities of presidents by the possibilities of vice-presidents.

president*vicepresident=
10*9=90

Answer= D. 90

If a fish tank is 9ft long how many inches is this

Answers

1 foot is equal to 12 inches.

So we simply multiply 9 ft to 12 inches per foot.

9 ft * 12 in/ft = 9 * 12 inches = 108 inches.

9 feet is 108 inches long.

If a fish tank is 9 ft long it is 108 inches..... If you have one foot you have 12 inches so just multiply 12 x 9 and get 108 inches
