Answer 1
Answer: well it depends what 'v' stands for

well all you need to do is replace the v with the number it stands for. For example if v=2 then the expression would be 4.2(2) - 5 - 6.5(2)
Then you use the order of operations. first you multiply

8.4 - 5 - 13

then you subtract from left to right

8.4 - 5 = 3.4

3.4 - 13 =  -13 - 3.4 = -9.4

So IF v=2 (I used 2 as an example, V might not = 2 in your case) then the
answer will be -9.4

I hope this helped you :3

Solve the equation x2 + 64 = 100Group of answer choices

x = ±6

x = ±2

x = ±√164

x = 10 ±√8

Answers

Answer:

x = ± 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

x² + 64 = 100 ( subtract 64 from both sides )

x² = 36 ( take the square root of both sides )

x = ± √(36) = ± 6

A parallelogram has sides measuring 23.8 m and 35.3 m. The height corresponding to the 23.8-m base is 9.9 m. Find the height, to the nearest tenth of a meter, corresponding to the 35.3-m base.

Answers

Answer:

The value of x i.e DE is6.7m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a parallelogram has sides measuring 23.8 m and 35.3 m. The height corresponding to the 23.8-m base is 9.9 m. we have to find the height corresponding to the 35.3-m base which is DE

Area of parallelogram ABCD=Base AB* heightDE

                                               =35.3* x

                                               =35.3x m^2

Area of parallelogram ABCD=Base BC* heightDF

                                               =23.8* 9.9

                                               =235.62 m^2

Above two is the area of same parallelogram

35.3x=235.62

⇒  x=6.6747\sim6.7m^2

Hence,The value of x i.e DE is6.7m^2
