Write a persuasive letter to the editor which has ethos pathos and logos about urbanisation and it’s effects on humanity

Answers

Answer:

Dear Editor,

In view of the growth of our society and the growing need for urbanization in the space in which we live, I decided to write to you with the aim of informing you about the impacts of this reality, which I believe may be beneficial for you.

As we know, our population grows at an impressive speed, which means that there is a need for the expansion of cities and therefore society enters an urbanization process.

While many see urbanization as a factor of growth and success for the human race, we must look at the negative effects that this process develops.

The first and perhaps the most impactful of these effects is the need for deforestation to allow cities to expand. Deforestation ends our nature, decreases the amount of natural resources and influences the extinction of many living beings. In addition, deforestation influences the attack of wild animals within cities, which can be very dangerous.

A second negative effect can be seen in the decrease in rural spaces, which causes a lower supply of agricultural products on the market, which can result in poor distribution of food to the population, or a need for deforestation that reduces our quality of life.

In view of these statements, I hope I contributed with your knowledge about the problems of urbanization, however there are other problems associated with these which allows me to state that your research on the subject will be vast.

Thank you.

The central idea of "Mother Tongue" by Amy Tan is that one's facility with language should not be misunderstood as an indicator of intelligence or capability.

What's the literature about?

Tan's mother immigrated to the United States from China and spoke English with a heavy accent. Tan herself grew up speaking both English and Chinese, but she often felt ashamed of her mother's English. She felt that her mother's English made her seem unintelligent and incapable.

As Tan grew older, she began to realize that her mother's English was just as expressive and powerful as any other form of English. She came to appreciate the unique way that her mother used language to communicate her thoughts and feelings.
