Now that you have analyzed the Gettysburg Address, imagine that you are a commentator attending the ceremonies on November 19, 1863. Write a paragraph explaining why the Gettysburg Address will have a long-term impact. In your remarks explain why Lincoln never calls for a Northern victory

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:  Lincoln never blamed anyone for the conflict and was sorry for all deaths that had to happen to bring the conflict to a resolution is why the Address has had a long time effect. He never said an angry or vindictive word or professed any right or wrong other than that the United States should be one country.
Lincoln Maintained the attitude that the "house " was divided but it was still one "house".
When the war ended Lincoln had a plan already laid out for RECONSTRUCTION and not for conquering. The only stipulation he had for states rejoining the Union was that they had to sign a document that they would never hold any person as a slave. Otherwise everything they needed for rebuilding their state would have help from the Union. In Lincoln's mind there was never a North, only the Union of the states. He considered victory as the reuniting of the United States.

Read the excerpt from "The Most Dangerous Game."Rainsford's first impression was that the man was singularly handsome; his second was that there was an original, almost bizarre quality about the general's face. He was a tall man past middle age, for his hair was a vivid white; but his thick eyebrows and pointed military mustache were as black as the night from which Rainsford had come. His eyes, too, were black and very bright. He had high cheek bones, a sharp-cut nose, a spare, dark face, the face of a man used to giving orders, the face of an aristocrat. C. Irrational behaviors are the downfall of organizations
D. Observations of behaviors are rational in nature.
E. There is an explanation for everything.

Answer:

B.There are irrational forces that underlie seemingly rational behaviors.

Explanation:

Psychodynamic theory sees that behavior is caused by unconscious factors (that are completly out of our one awareness) and for which we have no control. As an unsconscious mind poses thoughts and feelings they come to arise to the surface in the conscious mind as expressions of what Freud called parapraxes.

The irrational forces are inherent to a given subject , and many of his actions are been driven inconsciously that way.

Conflict arises in the mind as a result of natural drives and complex and multiple components
