Why is math so hard?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: because its supposed to be to make us suffer
Answer 2
Answer: I wouldn't consider math hard it is just a challenge and sometimes more complex that you have to dig a little deeper to find the answer it won't always be right there. I have to be honest that I am not a fan of math but I learned that I need math in my life because it is everywhere. Remember that math is like building blocks it starts off in kindergarten with adding then subtracting, multiplying, dividing. It continues on with your life. You just need to work with it and soon it won't be as complicated.

Mallory has three dollars in her wallet if this is 10% of her monthly allowance what is her monthly allowance

Answers

Answer:

$30.

Step-by-step explanation:

Definition:

Allowance: A regular sum of money that is given by a parent or guardian to a child in each month.

Solution:

We can use the following formula to find the total amount of Mallory's monthly allowance:

\sf \textsf{ Percentage of allowance saved} * \textsf{ Total allowance = Amount saved}

In this case, we know that Mallory has saved $3, which is 10% of her monthly allowance.

Plugging these values into the formula, we get:

\sf 10\% * \textsf{ Amount saved} = 3

\sf 0.10 * \textsf{ Amount saved} = 3

Divide both sides by 0.10.

\sf \textsf{ Amount saved} = (3)/(0.10)

\sf \textsf{ Amount saved} = 30

Therefore, Mallory's monthly allowance is $30.

A company manufactures and sells novelty mugs. The manufacturing costs consists of a fixed cost of R8000 AND A VARIABLE COST OF R15.00 per mug. The mugs are sold at R35 each. Assume a linear profit function.1. Determine the profit function.
2. What is the break-even level.
3. Draw a graph depicting a profit function.

Answers

Given:
Manufacturing cost : fixed cost = 8,000 ; variable cost = 15 per mug
Selling Price: 35 per mug

Let x be the number of mugs.

Sales Revenue = 35x
Manufacturing Cost = 8,000 + 15x

Profit = Sales Revenue - Manufacturing Cost
P = 35x - 8,000 - 15x
P = 20x - 8,000

Break even level: Profit is 0
Sales Revenue = Manufacturing cost
35x = 8,000 + 15x
35x - 15x = 8000
20x = 8000
x = 8000/20
x = 400

Company must produce at least 400 mugs to break even or have 0 profit. Quantity greater than 400 will result to a profit while quantity lesser than 400 will result to a loss.
