Answers

The result of nonrenewable resources and unlimited wants and needs is a limitation on the amount of resources available to consumers. Mark is reading a novel and has reached the rising action. What happens to the conflict in a story during the rising action?

Answers

Answer: the conflict suffers turns that lead to the climax of the story.

Explanation: the rising action in a story is a series of events that help to create interest, and suspense in a narrative. It can include all the background situations, decisions that characters make, and other elements that together create turns and twists leading to a climax (which is the point in a narrative at which the conflict or tension hits the highest point, and it often leads to the resolution).

In the rising action, here is when the most conflict occurs or a twist that completely alters the plot of the writing. It gives volume, changes the tone and the mood inevitably!

Write a persuasive letter to the editor which has ethos pathos and logos about urbanisation and it’s effects on humanity

Answers

Answer:

Dear Editor,

In view of the growth of our society and the growing need for urbanization in the space in which we live, I decided to write to you with the aim of informing you about the impacts of this reality, which I believe may be beneficial for you.

As we know, our population grows at an impressive speed, which means that there is a need for the expansion of cities and therefore society enters an urbanization process.

While many see urbanization as a factor of growth and success for the human race, we must look at the negative effects that this process develops.

The first and perhaps the most impactful of these effects is the need for deforestation to allow cities to expand. Deforestation ends our nature, decreases the amount of natural resources and influences the extinction of many living beings. In addition, deforestation influences the attack of wild animals within cities, which can be very dangerous.

A second negative effect can be seen in the decrease in rural spaces, which causes a lower supply of agricultural products on the market, which can result in poor distribution of food to the population, or a need for deforestation that reduces our quality of life.

In view of these statements, I hope I contributed with your knowledge about the problems of urbanization, however there are other problems associated with these which allows me to state that your research on the subject will be vast.

Thank you.

Pathos is the resource that evokes sentimentality and in the text above it can be seen in the following line "While many see urbanization as a factor of growth and success for the human race, we must look at the negative effects that this process develops."

Logos is the resource that evokes logic and in the text above can be seen in the following line: "As we know, our population grows at an impressive speed, which means that there is a need for the expansion of cities and therefore society enters an urbanization process. "
