Which two main characteristics describe weather? A.
gravity

B.
temperature

C.
air pressure

D.
clouds

You have to choose 2.

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

if you want to know what describes weather, you have to think about it and eliminate the one that are obviously not correct.

So, gravity is obviously wrong.

Temperature is definatly one because you need temperature to calculate how cold/hot it is. Air pressure and clouds are the ones im not sure about. Clouds dont really describe weather but they could if you say cloudy. I think air pressure is needed to find out how strong the wind is but im not sure

Hope I helped a bit

Answer 2

Is the following sentence true or false? It is easier to synthesize new elements with very large atomic numbers.

Answers

Answer (True/False):

FALSE

Explanation:

Atomic number defines the number of electrons and protons in an atom. where as synthesizes means to produce something chemically. Keeping both the statements in view, it is not easier to synthesize new elements with a large number of electrons and protons. Though this process can be done for the small atomic numbers.

No, not particularly. For those beyond a certain point, you actually need to create the precursors first and then combine them again.

Answer:

1- Option A

2- Option D

3- Option D

4- Option D

5- Option B

6- Option C

7- Option B

Explanation:

Constructive forces are the forces that add new landmass on earth. They are typically formed by events such as volcanic eruptions, sediment deposition, and distortion in the crust.

The Hawaiian volcanic islands were formed due to the subduction of the Pacific plate under the NorthAmerican plate.

A dome generally forms when the magma rises up towards the surface. This hot magma lifts the land area, and subsequently with time, the magma cools and solidifies before eruption, giving rise to the formation of domes.

Beaches are formed due to the continuous erosion of the coastal rocks by the sea waves. Waves also carry sediments from the oceans to the coastal beach but it mainly erodes the rocks and sediment particles that are present on the beach area.

When sediment particles are carried by the rivers and streams and are deposited at the mouth of the river, then a delta is formed.

When an oceanic plate collides with a continental plate, then the denser oceanic plate gets subducted beneath the continental plate and forms a region of subduction where at great depth partial melting of the subducting plate takes place.

Along the mid-oceanic ridge, new crusts are added because the hot magma comes out to the surface and solidifies. This are rocks that are basaltic in nature.

What is the name for the smaller units that make up complex carbohydrates?A. Monosaccharides
B. Nucleotides
O c. Amino acids
D. Fatty acids

Answers

Answer: A.) Monosaccharides

Explanation:

Monosaccharides are the building blocks of complex carbohydrates. Monosaccharides are simple sugars containing only one sugar molecule. Examples of Monosaccharides are glucose, fructose, mannose. Monosaccharides are joined covalently by a glycosidic bond to form polymers known as polysaccharide. For example, starch is a complex carbohydrate made up of many glucose units.

Answer:

A. Monosaccharides

Explanation:

B is for DNA, C is for protein and D is the polymer for lipids.
