Gary invested $1,000 into an account earning interest at an annual rate of 5% compounded annually. Each year, he deposited an additional $1,000, and made no withdrawals. When he closed the account, he had a balance of $4,525.64. How much interest would Gary earn in that same time if he invests $10,000 and deposits $10,000 into the account each year?

Answers

so first we need to find out how much interest he earned a year so 525.64 divided by 4 which is 131.41 in interest a year so that 5% percent

so 10000 $ for 4 year he would earn 1900.5 so he would have 11,900.5

Hillary used 5 L of a cleaning solution to scrub down 25 M^2 of table tops in the school cafeteria. how many litres of cleaning solution are required to clean a surface with an area of 65 m^2 if this solution is directly proportional?A.10L
B.13L
C.15L
D.25L

Answers

Answer is B) 13L.

Explanation:

We can calculate the number of liters of cleaning solution required to clean up a surface with the given area by simple method of proportion.

If 25m^2 area requires 5L of cleaning solution,

then let x bethe number of liters required for cleaning a 65m^2 area.

We can write it as:

25 / 65 = 5 /x

x = (5 x 65) / 25 = 325/25 = 13

So, 13 litres of cleaning solution is required to clean a surface with 65m^2 area.
