How did allies hide from Germans D-day invasion plan?

Answers

They really didn't hide it just kept it a secret, the Germans did know an invasion plan was at work just didn't know when or where it was going to happen. So they were ready on the beaches and planted land mines on the ground just in case, so if we came some soldiers would get blown up. The Nazi's were trying as hard as possible to get the info but it was to late by the time they got the news we had already taken over the french beach that they had doubt that was the beach we were going to land on.
Allies strategy was to convince axis that the invasion will take place in Pas de Calais. General Patton was commanding First United States Army Group - a fake army which was located on the other end of  La Manche channel than Pas de Calais. Even after landing in Normandy Germans left toops in Calais, thinking that D Day landing is just a deception.

The United States formally entered World War II following the Japanese attack on

Answers

Answer:  PEARL HARBOR

Detail/context:

The conflicts that became "World War II" began in the 1930s with Japanese imperial aggression into Manchuria, to take over Chinese territory.  Beginning in 1938, the United States adopted increasingly severe trade restrictions against Japan in response.  When Japan moved into French Indochina in 1941, the USA froze all Japanese financial assets in the USA and placed an embargo on all oil and gasoline shipments to Japan.  The Japanese viewed the embargo as an act of war, and their attack against the US at Pearl Harbor, a naval base near Honolulu, Hawaii, was (from Japan's viewpoint) a response to US trade sanctions against them.

The United States declared war on Japan on December 8, 1941 -- the day after the attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base.

The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7,1941. 1,177 crewman were killed.

The signers of the peace treaty supported the creation of the League of Nations. What happened that prevented the United States from joining the league?a. Wilson liked it but it never passed in the Senate.
b. Wilson opposed the League and it never made it to a Senate vote.
c. The Senate liked it but Wilson opposed it.
d. The United States was not invited to join.

Answers

It was primarily that "a. Wilson liked it but it never passed in the Senate," since there was a strong isolationist sentiment in the United States, and people thought entering the League would bring them into another war.

The correct answer is:

A. Wilson liked it, but it never passed in the Senate.

Explanation:

President Woodrow Wilson supported the idea of a League of Nations to settle future conflicts between countries; he even included it in the 14 Points he made to prevent another world war. Wilson attended meetings and negotiations and asked American citizens to support it but the United States' Senate opposed to League and failed to ratify the treaty because it feared that the U.S could lose sovereignty.
