I live on the 15th floor of an apartment building. My friend, Emily, comes to visit me every Saturday. Last year she would always ride the elevator to the 7th floor and walk up the rest of the way. This year she rides the elevator to the 9th floor and the walks the rest of the way. Why does she do this?
