Iskhan's poem "The Armenian Language Is the Home of the Armenian" is an example of a persuasive technique. "How many working peasants working day and night have kept its cupboards full, lamps lit, ovens hot" indicates that it's pathos kind of persuasive technique. Micheal Ondaatje's poem "sweet like a crow" is another example of pathos persuasive technique. "your voice sounds like a scorpion being pushed through a glass tube" is intended to convince the audience that the "person's" voice isn't good, by mentioning a bunch of things that sound similar to that person's voice. Muzaffer Izgü's poem "a town without a crazy" also contains persuasion; it happens when Hilmi tries to convince the narrator that living as the town's crazy is better than living as a normal person that barely makes enough money to live, which makes this another pathos persuasive technique.

Answer: The poem "The Armenian Language Is the Home of the Armenian" written by Iskhan states the line: "How many working peasants working day and night have kept its cupboards full, lamps lit, ovens hot", this indicates that the speaker or narrator asks the audience to see beyond what is presented. This is an example of a persuasive technique.

Which is the best meaning of the phrase "she’ll not be hit with Cupid’s arrow”?

Answers

Answer:

She does not want to fall in love with anyone.

Explanation:

The phrase 'to be hit with Cupid's arrow' is based on classical mythology. Cupid is the son of Venus and Mercury and he is associated with love and desire. He carries arrows with which he shoots his victims. When a person is hit by an arrow, the person immediately falls in love. Therefore, as the quote states that she will not be hit with an arrow, the suggestion is that she will not fall in love with anyone.

Read these sentences from the beginning of a short story.I guess I should have known not to adopt a hedgehog. At the time, though, it seemed like such a good idea.
From what point of view is this story told?
A. first person
B. third person limited
C. third person omniscient
D. the reader's point of view

Answers

These sentences that make part of the beginning of a short story are written in the A, first person. The first reason is grammatical; because the pronoun "I" used from beginning to end of the excerpt is the main characteristic of the first person singular. Second, in the stories written in first person, you do not have access to any information from the story save the one the main narrator is giving you, which means your view on the story is limited only to that one person who is narrating the story. All you will experience from the story will depend on that first person singular narrator who is witnessing the events and retelling them to you from his/her perspective.
