In Sophocles' Antigone, why does Creon have Antigone locked "in a vault of stone" with a supply of food rather than having her publicly executed as his own law demands?

Answers

I think he locked her 'in a vault of stone' because he didn't want to be the one responsible for her death, he was afraid of being judged for that, primarily by his son who was Antigone's fiance, and then by his own people.

Why should kids not have there own desk

Answers

( I think the opposite, but to support your question, I'd say....)

Kids shouldn't have their own desk because it increases the difficulty of collaborative group work. In the same table, you can all talk in a working manner. But you must make sure the children are capable of not talking about different conversations than learning conversations.
I think kids should actually, it keeps them separated from distractions by other kids.
