Answer 2
Answer: Oooooo kindness.....hmm. I would bring something that means a lot to me. I would bring something that someone gave to me and they put their heart and soul into it for me. For example, this doll I got when I was little. My dear friend made it for me and she put love and happiness into every stitch. I would maybe bring that. It has to be something special, something you'll hold on to for the rest of your life. Maybe it was a ribbon you won when you were helping someone. Maybe someone did something for you and you have an object that shows it. It can't just be any object, it has to be something that is important to you and an object that shows a memory you'll never forget, that will last forever. Maybe it was something your boyfriend/girlfriend/friend/sibling gave to you when you really needed it: a coat when you were cold, a hug when you were sad. ANYTHING that when you look at it, it fills your heart with happiness. Choose mine as brainiest please? I need ONE more and then I'm next rank! Good luck and have the best day EVAH!!!!!

We’re waiting for the awful grandmother who is inside dropping pesos into la ofrenda box before the altar to La Divina Providencia. Lighting votive candles and genuflecting. Blessing herself and kissing her thumb. Running a crystal rosary between her fingers. Mumbling, mumbling, mumbling.

There are so many prayers and promises and thanks-be-to-God to be given in the name of the husband and the sons and the only daughter who never attend mass. It doesn’t matter. Like La Virgen de Guadalupe, the awful grandmother intercedes on their behalf. For the grandfather who hasn’t believed in anything since the first PRI elections. For my father, El Periquín, so skinny he needs his sleep. For Auntie Light-skin, who only a few hours before was breakfasting on brain and goat tacos after dancing all night in the pink zone. For Uncle Fat-face, the blackest of the black sheep—Always remember your Uncle Fat-face in your prayers. And Uncle Baby— You go for me, Mamá—God listens to you.

How does your thesis relate to your supporting evidence?

Answers

The thesis relates to your supporting evidence because you are stating what you want to say in your thesis and your supporting evidence backs up your thesis.
The thesis statement is where you tell the reader your point of the essay. It will include the claim. The evidence will back up the claim/thesis.

It is urgent, I will appreciate it so much if you could help me in this.

B. Resolution
C. Falling action
D. Kenning

Answers

Answer:

B. Resolution

Explanation:

The excerpt shown is taken from the epic work "The Legend of Beowulf". This excerpt corresponds to the resolution of a conflict created by the character Unferth. Unferth is a very envious character, he is jealous of all the honor that Beowulf has won and created a conflict, when he spoke drunk that Beowlf was not as good a swimmer as he seemed. According to Unferth, Beowlf was weak, unworthy and Breca was a very swimmer. better than Beowulf.

The excerpt shows Beowulf's response to Unferth's statements. Beowlf brought a resolution to the conflict created by Unferth, without fighting, or insulting anyone. Beowlf calmly explains the reasons why he is the best swimmer and his calm and serenity shows everyone that he, besides being the best swimmer, is worthy of all the honor he already has.

Identify the complete adverb clause. After I went to bed last night, the telephone rang twice. After I went to bed After I went to bed last night I went to bed last night to bed last night the telephone rang the telephone rang twice

Answers

Answer:

After I went to bed last night

Explanation:

In the sentence, there are two clauses: an independent clause: the telephone rang twice (because it expresses a complete thought) and a dependent clause: After I went to bed last night(Because it does not express a complete thought on its own).

Dependent clauses can work as adjectives, nouns, or adverbs in a sentence. An adverb clause modifies verbs, adjectives or other adverbs and they are often introduced by a coordinating conjunction such as after, before, until and because. When they are placed at the beginning of a sentence (such as in the sentence given), they begin with a coordinating conjunction and end with a comma: After I went to bed last night, the telephone rang twice.

So, in the sentence, "After I went to bed last night" is an adverb clause because it has all those characteristics, and it modifies or adds further information to the verb "rang twice", more specifically, it answers the question When?: When did the telephone ring twice? Answer: After I went to bed last night.
