Why copper should not be disposed of in landfill sites? It's going to be a question in my exam but I don't get it.

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Copper is a heavy metal that can harm many people. This process of heavy metals building in your body is called bioaccumulation and the process of this building in the food chain is called biomagnification. Its hard to rid of this heavy metal because it is very dense, therefore, cannot breakdown in our bodies. Heavy metals get consumed by producers and then reach to the top of the pyramid (us) so we have the highest risk of getting diseases and so on. Make sure you explain that heavy metals get passed from industrial purposes where companies do not dispose of waste properly.

Good luck!
Answer 2
Answer: What the guy above said, although he focuses more on the human side. In animals the bioaccumalation can cause toxicity and diseases within them too, and it can cause large loss of life. It also limits plant growth when in high doses, so new life can't grow in the area once the landfill is covered over

How can you increase the electrical output of a generator?Decrease the speed of the spinning magnet.
Increase the turns of the wire.
O Decrease the turns of the wire.
Decrease the speed of the spinning solenoid.
O Decrease the size of the magnet.

Answers

Answer:

Increase the turns of the wire

Explanation:

By increasing the number of turns the wire has made, you are increase the inductive power of the coil in the generator, thereby giving rise to the output of the generator.

Increase the turns of the wire.

Suppose the candle was placed in a large, sealed jar that allowed it to burn for several minutes before running out of oxygen. The candle and jar are balanced by an equal weight. In this situation, what would happen if you lit up the candle and waited?

Answers

If the candle was placed in a large, sealed jar that allowed it to burn for several minutes before running out of oxygen. The candle and jar are balanced by an equal weight. In this situation, the side with the lit candle would rise because the heat collects on the top of the jar and starts to make the jar lighter by carrying some of the wait, whether it be a little or a lot.

The side where the candle lit would rise due to accumulation of heat from burning of candle.

When the candle was placed in a large, sealed jar and allowed it to burn for several minutes before running out of oxygen, the heat accumulates at the upper part of the jar and as a result the warm air puts pressure on the jar.

If the gas pressure is larger than the weight of the jar. the jar will be lifted by the air otherwise it will remain the same so we can conclude that the motion of jar occurs due to the burning of candle which produces the air.
