2. The median is B. 16
3. The mean is D. 14.25
4. The median is 2.3
5. The mean is 18

Answer 2
Answer: 1) the mode is the number that repeats the most in a given set of numbers, so the answer would be c, 18
2) the median is b, 16 (if you put the numbers in chronological order, there are two middle numbers, to get the median you have to average those two numbers)
3) the mean is d, 14.25 (add all the numbers up and divide by the amount of numbers that you have [if you have 5 numbers, you divide by 5])
4) the median is 2.3
5) the mean is 18
hope this helps!

(2x^2+3x+4)(x^3+4x^2+3x)(x+4)

First use the distributive property for the first two:

(2x^5+8x^4+6x^3+3x^4+12x^3+9^2+4x^3+16x^2+12x)(x+4)

And then combine like terms:

(2x^5+11x^4+22x^3+25x^2+12x)(x+4)

Continue use the distributive property:

(2x^6+11x^5+22x^4+25x^3+12x^2+8x^5+44x^4+88x^3+100x^2+48x)

Continue combine like terms:

(2x^6+19x^5+66x^4+113x^3+112x^2+48x)
And that is your final answer.

Earl needs to fill juice cups for his little brother's birthday party. There are 25 juice cups and each juice cup holds 12 fluid ounces. The juice comes in 1-gallon bottles. How many 1-gallon bottles of juice will Earl need to purchase?(1 quart = 32 fluid ounces, 1 gallon = 4 quarts)
a. 1 bottle
b. 2 bottles
c.3 bottles
d. 4 bottles

Answers

Ok so first we need to find how many fluid ounces all the cups hold in totoal.
so 25*12=300
So we have 300 ounces in the cups and 300 ounces is around 2.34 gallons. So we need 2.34 gallons to fill all the cups, and one bottle is one gallon, so if we get two bottles we have 2 gallons, which is a little under the amount we need. So we would need to buy 3 bottles (3 gallons) to have enough to drink.

Hope that helpes:) if it dosn't make sense PM me and I can try to explain better :)

Yes,this is a doozy.

                 -3 (y - 5)  =  15

Eliminate the parentheses on the left side:

                 -3(y) -3(-5)  =  15

                 -3y  + 15  =  15

Subtract 15 from each side:

                 -3y  =  0

Divide each side by -3 :

                    y  =  0

What times what equals 29 besides 29 times 1

Answers

The answer is 1 times 29. Number 29 is a prime number, which means that its multiples are 1 and itself (29). 29 = 29 * 1. According to the commutative law, in addition and multiplication, numbers can be swapped but the result will remain the same: a+b=b+a or a*b=b*a. Therefore, 29 = 29 * 1 = 1 * 29. In other words, 29 times 1 equals 29 and 1 times 29 equals 29, too.
