Which describes a disruption in the water cycle that could affect photosynthesis?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Disruptioncould mean that could severely affect the photosynthetic process of the plants. If a certain mechanism is involved internally in the water cycle it would beevaporation. Hence, evaporation reduces the amount of water available on thesoil. Furthermore, photosynthesis in autotrophs need water.

Pollutioncan also be a factor that can distract the process. Most especially, waterpollution. Acid rain could be in particular. If the atmosphere is congestedwith toxic gases then when precipitation occurs the toxic chemicals are mixedin the raindrops that may result inability or dysfunctions in most plants toexecute photosynthesis.

Answer 2
Answer: Polluted water affects the water cycle and it also affect the photosynthetic cycle.

CAN SOMEBODY PLASE HELP ME 30 PONITS FOR BEST ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Compare the three types of forests: Tropical rainforest, temperate deciduous forest, and boreal forest (also called the taiga).
1.Describe the three soil types. Before you learned about the biomes, which of the three would you have thought would have had the richest soil? Why?

2.For each of the three biomes, describe what you see as the biggest challenge to plants and animals--what environmental factor most drives their adaptations. (Example: For the desert, the factor would be the lack of water and heat.)

Answers

1. The tropical rainforest has leaching and poor nutrients, but some parts of the rainforest have fertile soil. The temperate deciduous forest has mull soils, which are full of organic material. The boreal forest/taiga soil tends to be young and poor in nutrients. Before I learned about these biomes, I would have thought that the rainforest would have the richest soil, since there are so many animals and plants. If there were so many animals, there would be a lot of animal deaths, which would lead to decomposers chewing up the body and turning them into fertilizer/nutrients for the soil.

2. In the tropical rainforest, a challenge would be access to light, since the trees form a canopy and cover the light in order to get their sunlight and get bigger. Also, since there are many animals in the rainforest (over 2,800 species of plants and insects alone), it would be hard to access resources and there would be much competition. In the temperate deciduous forest, there would be competition for light and space because the extreme amount of animals and the large trees. In the boreal forest/taiga, the plants wouldn't have good soil or a growth season, and the animals would have a very long and cold winter, which could cause freezing to death or lack of food and starving to death.

Hope this helps! :)
How are the trees different in these three biomes?

•Tropical forest consists of more…Tropical plants of course! These being: Palms, Orchids, ferns, vines, mosses, and more.
•Temperate forest tend to stick with more “dry” plants per say. Some examples: Oak, hickory, maple, elm, willow, ect.
•Ending with Boreal Forest, (otherwise known as taiga) inhabit plants ofwhich can survive harsher, colder climates. This includes: Pine, fir,and spruce. “Needle like pines” if you will.

Describe the three soil types. Before you learned about the biomes, which of the three would you have thought would have had the richestsoil? Why?

•Tropical Forest: Soil is nutrient-poor and acidic. Decomposition is rapid and soils are subject to heavy leaching.
•Temperate Forest: Soil is fertile, enriched with decaying litter.
•Boreal Forest: Soil is thin, nutrient-poor, and acidic.
Out of the three biomes, *Insert thoughts here*

For each of the three biomes, describe what you see as the biggestchallenge to plants and animals. What environmental factor most drivestheir adaptations? (Example: For the desert, the factor would be thelack of water and heat.)

•Tropical Rain forest: The lack of nutrients in the soil.
•Temperate Forest: Acid rain. <It kills trees & plants.
•Boreal Forest: Poor soil.

Arid environments, coupled with the growth in the oil industry and government employment, make most countries in Southwest Asia and Africa highly urbanized. Kuwait and Qatar, between 1950 and 2008, went from 50 percent urbanized to _____percent urbanized, while Saudi Arabia grew from 10 percent urbanized to ____ percent urbanized. A. 75; 81
B. 70; 60
C. 60; 60
D. 98; 81

Answers

The correct answer for the question above is option C - 60, 60. This is due to the growth in the oil industry, as well as the dry environments in these countries and improving employment levels. Between 1950 and 2008 Kuwait and Qatar went from from 50 to 60 percent urbanized, whilst Saudi Arabia grew from 10 percent urbanized to 60 percent urbanized.

What has helped ecosystems survive through the earth’s changes?

Answers

Ecosystems survive through earth’s changes by adapting, evolving, and maintaining biodiversity, ecological interactions, and essential resources.

Ecosystems have survived on Earth through various changes due to their ability to adapt and evolve. One of the key factors that has helped ecosystems survive is biodiversity. The presence of a wide range of species within an ecosystem increases its resilience and ability to withstand disturbances.

Additionally, ecological interactions such as symbiosis and predation play important roles in maintaining ecosystem balance. For example, certain organisms may provide mutual benefits to each other, while predators help control the population of prey species.

Furthermore, the availability of essential resources like water, sunlight, and nutrients is vital for the survival of ecosystems. These resources support the growth and functioning of organisms within the system.

Branson wants to prove that the diagonals in a rectangle are congruent.Select the appropriate rephrased statement for Branson's proof.

Answers

Answer:

what ever D is.

Explanation:

Final answer:

Branson can prove that the diagonals of a rectangle are congruent by showing that the two triangles formed by drawing the diagonals share equal sides and angles, therefore making the triangles congruent, which in turn means their corresponding sides (the diagonals) are congruent.

Explanation:

To prove that the diagonals in a rectangle are congruent, Branson can use the properties of a rectangle and congruent triangles. A rectangle is defined as a quadrilateral with four right angles. By drawing the diagonals of a rectangle, you are essentially creating two triangles which share a common side (the diagonal) and have two pairs of corresponding sides (the lengths of the rectangle) that are equal because opposite sides of a rectangle are equal in length. In addition, both triangles have a right angle. Since we know that side-side-angle (SSA) is enough to prove congruency in right-angled triangles, we can conclude that the two triangles are congruent. As corresponding parts of congruent triangles, the diagonals must therefore be congruent as well.
