What do you think is the difference between being imaginative in doing science and Doing pseudoscience?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: I would say that being imaginative in science means finding new ways to find or analyse the data, but which do not make the data false or which do not manipulate the data. Being imaginative in science should not cross the boundary of making the science not reliable

Being imaginative in pseudoscience could mean manipulating the data or even making experiments in such a way as to only obtaining specific data or throwing away certain data.

A wave has a wavelength of 125 meters is move a distance of 300 m in 15s. What is its frequency? please help

Answers

   Frequency of any wave  =  (speed) / (wavelength)

                                           = (300m / 15s)  /  (125m)

                                           =  (300m)  /  (15s x 125m)

                                           =      (300) / (15 x 125)    (m/s-m)

                                           =             0.16 / sec  =  0.16 Hz

Dark clothing feels warmer than white clothing on a sunny day. Which interaction causes the dark clothing to feel warm?

Answers

Answer: Absorption

Explanation: Because the darker clothing absorbs the heat more than the lighter clothing beacuse of contrast i guess . A P E X

Explanation:

The darker the object, the better it emits heat, because it's a better absorber of light. On the other hand, a white object appears white because it reflects all the different wavelengths and absorbs little to no light.

Which two of the following are the densest of the materials shown?Material Mass (g) Volume (L)
Rock 1000 0.5
Pillow 200 10
Bottle of soda 2000 2
Loaf of bread 100 1

Answers

Answer:

The densest materials are rock and bottle of soda.

Explanation:

The density of material is given by,

Density = (mass)/(volume)

Case 1: Rock

Density = (1000)/(0.5)

Density = 2000 (g)/(L)

Case 2: Pillow

Density = (200)/(10)

Density = 20 (g)/(L)

Case 3: Bottle of soda

Density = (2000)/(2)

Density = 1000 (g)/(L)

Case 4: Load of bread

Density = (100)/(1)

Density = 100 (g)/(L)

The densest materials are rock and bottle of soda.

What could you do to change the volume of a gas?

Answers

The ONLY way to change the volume of a sample of gas is to transfer it to a container with different volume.
Simply changing its temperature or pressure in the same jar won't do it. Any amount of gas always fills whatever container you keep it in.
