One of them is the culture : India has a very specific culture (and of course there is a lot of variation within India, but there are a lot of similarities too) and religion : Hinduism, which is almost absent outside of India. Further, many  Indians have a different appearance than other Asians :brown skin, especially in the south. Also, Indian languages, although also very varied, provide a sense of unity, since they all influenced each other over the years  (so while tamil and Chinese are both different from Hindi , Tamil has borrowed more from Hindi than Chinese.

This was a big decision regarding the abolition of discrimination based of race and color of skin. This boycott lasted from 5th December 1955 to 21st December 1956.

Segregation refers to the enforced separation of different racial or ethnic groups, often with the intention of maintaining social, economic, and political inequalities.

In the context of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, segregation specifically refers to the practice of racial separation on public buses, where African Americans were subjected to discriminatory policies, such as being forced to sit in the back or give up their seats to white passengers.

The boycott was a response to this systemic segregation, and its success highlighted the injustice of segregation laws and paved the way for subsequent civil rights advancements in the United States.
