PLEASE HELP!!!THIS IS FOR 10 POINTS!!!
What type of poem is this?

"I cannot go to school today"
Said little Peggy Ann McKay.
"I have the measles and the mumps,
A gash, a rash and purple bumps.

My mouth is wet, my throat is dry.
I'm going blind in my right eye.
My tonsils are as big as rocks,
I've counted sixteen chicken pox.

And there's one more - that's seventeen,
And don't you think my face looks green?
My leg is cut, my eyes are blue,
It might be the instamatic flu.

I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,
I'm sure that my left leg is broke.
My hip hurts when I move my chin,
My belly button's caving in.

My back is wrenched, my ankle's sprained,
My 'pendix pains each time it rains.
My toes are cold, my toes are numb,

I have a sliver in my thumb.

My neck is stiff, my voice is weak,
I hardly whisper when I speak.
My tongue is filling up my mouth,

I think my hair is falling out.

My elbow's bent, my spine ain't straight,
My temperature is one-o-eight.
My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,

There's a hole inside my ear.

I have a hangnail, and my heart is ...
What? What's that? What's that you say?
You say today is .............. Saturday?

G'bye, I'm going out to play!"

Answer: This is a narrative poem. It narrates how the day goes for Peggy Ann McKay. You will know that Peggy tries to make excuses so as not to go to school. In the second stanza, she has already mentioned five excuses, "My mouth is wet, my throat is dry./ I'm going blind in my right eye./ My tonsils are as big as rocks,/ I've counted sixteen chicken pox." At the end though, Peggy discovers that it is Saturday so she suddenly feels well and plans to go out to play.
Answer 2
Answer:

This is a narrative poem because there is a narrator telling the poem

In March 1936, Lange was driving home to San Francisco after completing a job. Along the way, she passed a crude sign announcing PEA-PICKERS CAMP. . . . Leaving her car, Lange saw a mother seated in a canvas lean-to with a baby in her arms and two other children huddled around her. The woman seemed stunned and despairing over her family's plight. Lange told what happened next:I saw and approached the hungry and desperate mother, as if drawn by a magnet. I do not remember how I explained my presence or my camera to her, but I do remember she asked me no questions. . . . I did not ask her name or history. She told me her age, that she was thirty-two. She said that they had been living on frozen vegetables from the surrounding fields, and birds that the children had killed. She had just sold the tires from her car to buy food. There she sat in that lean-to tent with her children huddled around her, and seemed to know that my pictures might help her, and so she helped me. I have to come up with and object of kindness . I don't know what to do . It has to be an actual object that I have to bring in to represent kindness.

Answers

You could bring in an "act of kindness". For example, you could bring a birthday card or a homemade gift you once received. You could even bring in evidence of volunteering or helping a loved one.

An object of kindness can be anything that represents kindness, compassion, and love for others. It can be a thank you card somebody gave you or a picture of you helping someone.

Hope it helps :)
