But sometimes the trade winds shift and bring in warm waters from the western Pacific. The ocean may get many degrees warmer. The warm water heats the air. This causes unusual changes in the weather. El Niño can last several months to several years. If it occurs year after year it can have long-term effects on climate.

A teen Kim that was 14 years old her dad was the only person that living with her and then moved out. Kim didn’t have anywhere to live she had to hear uncle Alberto’s house which no hot water, barely had any food, and smelt very bad. 5 months later, she got $180 for her birthday and then spent on alcohol and got arrested and $65 fine. And 5 months later she had nowhere to live. Homeless people like Kim are suffering to live. We can help live and food on the table with this non-profit shelter that helps homeless people.
