(William Bradford, Of Plymouth Plantation: Book1, Chapter IX)The audience of the preceding passage is:

specific to the author's church

Answers

Answer:

Option B. The audience of the preceding passage was the author himself.

Explanation:

"Of Plymouth Plantation" is the personal journal of William Bradford, who was the leader of the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts. The journal tells the story of the colony through a span of over 30 years and it is considered the single most important source of information about the Pilgrims.

Although the journal became a famous history source read by many, Bradford never intended to publish it himself, therefore everything that was written in it, was originally written for the author himself.

TRUE OR FALSE: Repetition is when the speakers emphasize significant ideas by repeating key words or phrases.A. True
B. False

Answers

It is truethat repetition is when the speakers emphasize significant ideas by repeatingkey words or phrases so that the audience could listen to it. Listening isdifficult because it requires people to pay attention to the person they arelistening to. With all the different distractions we have nowadays, listeningis very hard because we need to give our time, effort and be genuine at thesame time when a person is talking. To listen is a form of respect. We have twoears and a mouth and one of the reasons is that we need to listen more insteadof talking. In listening, this is where we challenged ourselves to be more opento ideas. However if repetition is overdo, then it could be annoying.
The answer is false repition doesnt emphasize ideas of repeating key words or phrases

Briefly describe the different types of national and external conflict. Then explain how author introduces develops and resolves the major conflict in the narrative Day of the Butterfly.

Answers

Answer:

Conflict in literature means that any problem the protagonist has to overcome in order to solve a situation and accomplish their mission.

The conflict is relevant for any literature because it gives meaning to the whole text, like there has to be a problem to be solved. There are 2 types of conflict, internal and external conflict.

Internal conflict are the problems that happen inside the protagonist's mind, a struggle between two feelings fighting each other up to the point where the protagonist submits to one or none of the feelings and reaches a conclusion.

External conflicts involve every problem that can be caused by an external source, this being, another person, the nature, a machine, etc.
