I'm doing a persuasive essay on why you shouldn't buy a hover board, it has to be six paragraphs long. What are some ideas as to what each paragraph should be about?

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: Your first paragraph  needs to state what your persuading them into doing. The second paragraph needs to state a reason why they shouldnt buy a hover board, the third one should be the same thing , a reason as to why they shouldnt buy it. The fourth one needs to explain why your reasons in paragraph two and three are legit reasons to not buy a hover board. The fifth paragraph needs to be evidence for your reasons why not to buy a hover board. Finally in the sixth paragraph just summarize everything you have wrote.

A. the globe and the Yangtse River B. the embroidered cloth and the Chinese newspaper C. the house she lives in and the school she attends D. the Custom House and the grand street known as the Bund

The answer is A. the globe and the Yangtse River. The author/narrator starts the story saying that in her father's study there is a globe and she lives in the city that straddles the river, seemingly breaking the country in two. She describes her town on the globe as being on the wrong side of the world because she is homesick for America where she is from and where her grandmother lives.
