The malleability of gold is due to the  nature of the bonds between gold atoms and the reactivity of gold atoms.

What is an atom?

An atom is defined as the smallest unit of matter which forms an element. Every form of matter whether solid, liquid , gas consists of atoms . Each atom has a nucleus which is composed of protons and neutrons and shells in which the electrons revolve.

The protons are positively charged and neutrons are neutral and hence the nucleus is positively charged. The electrons which revolve around the nucleus are negatively charged and hence the atom as a whole is neutral and stable due to presence of oppositely charged particles.

Atoms of the same element are similar as they have number of sub- atomic particles which on combination do not alter the chemical properties of the substances.

I think it'd because of (4), the reactivity of gold atoms, or rather, it's unreactivity. Gold, unlike most metals, doesn't form an oxide layer when exposed to air (Which is why it's so valued in jewellery, the metal will never tarnish, only stay gold forever). This makes it weaker, and so it can be formed in to thinner sheets.

However, (3), the nature of bonds between gold atoms also allows for the metal to be flattened, as metallic bonds aren't amazingly strong, and allow for metals to bend. This is what makes pure metals so weak, and why we use alloys.

Cause and effect of local winds?

Answers

Local winds are caused by the different surfaces on each lands which heat up differently based on climate and its temperature. This is a complete difference in temperature, and therefore causes a difference in pressure as well. This is capable of causing the air to move differently based on the actual location.

You submerge a piece of clay in water and measure the total volume. You change the shape of the clay and put it back into the same amount of water. Does the mass change? Explain.   ANSWER FAST

Answers

The mass will not change, because if you add or subtract any clay the mass doesn't change if u took some away or added any the mass would have changed.

What is measurement?

Distance has a physical quantity which has been measured in meter. If a man travel then it will measured in meters that shows that how much he had travelled from one place to another place for all such type of things we use to measure the distance.

Centimeter is also been physical quantity which has to be used measure distance. 1 centimeter is just equal to 0.01 meter and 1 centimeter is just equal to 0.00001 kilometer and the kilometer has been large quantity to measure distance on the other hand centimeter is smaller quantity in which distance is measured.

Kilometer is also known as physical quantity which used to measure the distance of 1 kilometer which is equal to 1000 meter and 1 kilometer is just equal to 10,0000 centimeter.

For above conclusion, we easily states that the kilometer is large quantity to measure distance while centimeter is smaller quantity to measure distance. Centimeter is also a physical quantity which is use to measure distance. 1 centimeter is equal to 0.01 meter and 1 centimeter is equal to 0.00001 kilometer.

Therefore,The mass will not change, because if you add or subtract any clay the mass doesn't change if u took some away or added any the mass would have changed.

The kinetic theory states that the higher the temperature, the faster the...

Answers

The properties of different states of matter is explained by the kinetic theory of matter. The kinetic theory states that the higher the temperature, the faster the movement of the molecules.

What is kinetic theory?

The kinetic theory of matter states that the matter is made up of the particles which are always in motion. All the particles should have energy and the energy of the particle is determined by the temperature which effect the substance that exists in solid, liquid or gas.

The average speed and kinetic energy of the gas molecules increases with the increase in temperature. The higher speed of the molecules causes the more forceful and frequent collisions to occur. The random motion of the molecules is caused by the increase in temperature.

The actual average speed of the particles depends on their mass as well as the temperature. The heavier particles move slowly and the lighter ones move faster.

The kinetic theory states that the higher the temperature, the faster the movement of particles and atoms. It is mainly applied to gases and states that the higher the temperature, the faster the particles of the gas move, which leads to greater collision of gas particles and greater pressure in a closed system.
