Why did the people of Boston resent the British soldiers

Answers

Answer 1
Answer: The people of Boston resented the Brittish soldiers for several reasons. The British soldiers were given order to watch over the people of Boston. Boston became overcrowded, mainly because each soldier was to watch over 4 people. Also, the british solders were told that the people were required to provide them food, warmth, and a place to stay. The reason that the British were ordered to watch over the people was because a few weeks ago, the British had taxed the citizens of Boston because of damage done from the French and Indian War. They taxed, which led to protest. In response, Great Britian sent soldiers to watch over the people and make surethat they paid.

What is the importance of having a written law code

Answers

A written law code (as opposed to a unwritten one) provides all sides a security that the law will stay the same and that all people will have a fair access to it - for example if the law says something about a marriage, you can be sure that this won't be twisted later by people interpreting the law differently (as could be the case in an unwritten law) - in case of doubt, you can look at the original

so there woundn't be any conflicts of the sort of "I understood the law to be this" "I understood it differently" - if the law is written down, it can be always accessed in original by all interested parties.
