why was akbar consider a just ruler

Answers

Akbar was considered a just and great ruler because he brought peace and order to the part of India that he was ruling by treating all his subjects fairly and equally. He also allowed Hindu's to practise their religion.
Akbar was a very influential ruler of Mughal Dynasty in India. He took over the job as ruler at the age of 13 and remained the ruler until his death. Akbar expanded the empire to cover most of northern and central India, and Afghanistan. He was their first Muslim leader. He encouraged religious tolerance and often encouraged religious debates in his courts. His wife was a Hindu and remained so even after marriage. Akbar stopped the taxing of Hindus who went on pilgrimages and were not in the military. This won the respect of Hindu leaders.Akbar never learned to read or write but was wise in choosing those people who worked for him. Western civilization and art as well as literature held an important place for him. He enjoyed beautiful architecture and built many beautiful buildings.Akbar was both a great leader and a warrior. If his men fought, Akbar did also in his expansion ideas. He realized he could not rule the whole area on his own so he left the princes of that area conquered in place under him to rule. The people were thankful to have their own ruler not dismissed or banished which made them feel Akbar was a just man.Akbar was for social justice and reform. One area he worked towards making better was child marriages being banned. He also did not believe that widows should never remarry. He took legislative steps to stop sati tradition which allowed for the burning of widows.

A broad flat area of land that rises above the surrounding land

Answers

Answer:  PLATEAU

A plateau is a broad flat area of land that rises above the surrounding land. The word stems from the French language, from a word root meaning "flat."  The largest and highest plateau in the world is the Tibetan Plateau, which is about 3 miles above sea level, and extends over 600 miles north/south and about 1600 miles east/west.  Around the Tibetan Plateau are large mountain ranges that include the world's tallest peak, Mount Everest.

Sidenote:  I lived for many years in West Texas, in the region known as the Llano Estacado, or "Staked Plains."  It is an expansive plateau or mesa region with an elevation between 3000 and 5000 feet.

How did the revolt in Haiti influence Napoleon's decision to sell Louisiana

Answers

He decided to sell Louisiana because he no longer needed it. Napoleon wanted to take over some of the Carribean colonies and then use Louisiana to trade the good he would get from Lousiana. He was unable to do so because of the revolt in Haiti. He wasted many soldiers and still lost the battle so he gave up.
