Romeo and Juliet persuasive essayI have to persuade someone that if Romeo and Juliet were actually in love or they were crushing really hard.
Can someone read my introduction for my persuasive essay and give feedback:
"Real love is when you are completely committed to someone;/Real love is not based on romance." Romeo and Juliet are star-crossed lovers who love each other at first sight and become married the next day. In Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, two families feud with each other while to teenagers from opposite families fall in love and get married which leads them to die together.

This is what I have so far.

Answers

your trying to state that love is not just romance then i think this will work
I think that it's a pretty good introduction to start with. You have your eye catching sentence that will make someone want to read further, you have a quick recap to get the reader caught up, now all you need is supporting evidence on WHY you think that people should think whichever way you're trying to persuade them. Use textual evidence, maybe some emotional appeal with the fact that they died for each other, etc. EXPLAIN how they died for one and other, and why. Was it because they were truly in love or was it because they just had a crush? You're off to a great start!
