What helps with asexual reproduction of yeast

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

Answer:

Asexual reproduction is a method of reproduction for most of single cell organisms including yeast, in this type of reproduction a single parent generates new organism and new one is exact copy of parent both physically and genetically.

In yeast asexual reproduction is carried out by budding, its an asymmetric type of division in which first a protruding body is produced on its surface, it fully grows and forms bud later. When full grown, buds detach from the parent cell and grows independently. Instead of single bud, a chain of buds could also be produced at the surface of yeast.

How is nitrogen from the atmosphere, the abiotic part of the ecosystem, converted into the biotic part of the ecosystem in organisms?

Answers

In the process of the nitrogen cycle.
The nitrogen cycle is a biogeochemical succession process of nitrogen that involves: fixation, ammonification, nitrification, and denitrification. Like any other biogeochemical cycles. This process undergoes and affects the biological, geometrical and chemical aspects in the ecosystem and the abiotic and biotic community. Hence, the nitrogen cycle leads the abiotic component –nitrogen- to contribute to the biotic community, decomposition and primal production. Further, it becomes an essential part of the environment because some life components are contains it, similarly, amino acids, nucleic acids in RNA and DNA.

A man pushes down on a table.A.What does the table top do to the man?

B.pushes in the same direction as the hand

pushes back against the hand

Answers

Answer:

pushes back against the hand

Explanation:

This can be explained by Newton's third law.

Newton's third law states that every action corresponds to a reaction, of the same module, the same direction and opposite directions. This means that when we push on a surface, beings are pushed by the surface, in the same direction but in opposite directions. The same is true when we hit a surface with your hand. Our hand will receive the same blow that the surface received, in the same direction and in the opposite direction.

For this reason, we can say that if a man pushes a table with his hand, his hand will be pushed by the table too, but in the opposite direction. If the man pushed the table forward, his hand will be pushed back.

Answer:

Pushes back against their hands.

Explanation:

The table pushes back against their hands. This is why we can't break objects easily.

A group of environmentalists were discussing the benefits and drawbacks associated with using fossil fuels. Which argument best fits the conversation? A. Fossil fuels are cheaper than alternative forms of energy.

B. Fossil fuel reserves will never be depleted.

C. Fossil fuels are easily renewed.

D. Fossil fuel use does not affect the environment.

Answers

Answer:

The correct answer is A. Fossil fuels are cheaper than alternative forms of energy

Explanation:

Fossil fuels are made from organic matter of dead animals and mainly plants  who were buried in the soil over hundred and thousand of years. We use fossil fuels because they are the best source to provide energy in the current time.

Fossil fuels are easily available and are present in very large amount which is the main reason for it to be cheaper. Fossil fuels like coal, petroleum or natural gas are more cheaper and efficient than alternative forms of energy like solar or wind energy.

But in future these fossil fuel will not be there and alternative forms of energy will become the primary and cheaper source of fuel.

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

Fossil fuels are formed inside the earth when dead plant and animal remains have enormous pressure on them. They get converted into coal and other types of fossils fuels.

They are not that that costly and is used by people at different places as it is so economical.

These are cheaper than other other sources of fuels. These are available in huge amount inside the earth and can be used for a very longer period of time with a very cost.

In the cross AaBb x AaBb, what are the genotypes that are homozygous for both traits, and in what proportion will they occur?

Answers

Answer:

In this cross aabb is the only genotype that is homozygous for both traits among 16 offspring's produced during the AaBb × AaBb cross.

Proportion is:   16  :  1  i.e out of 16 only one is homozygous for both traits.

Explanation:

Taking an example of pea plant.

In this question each organism has hetero-zygous  alleles i.e Aa of single character gene with having both dominant and recessive traits.

Say for example in this case capital "A" represents Tall dominant character and small "a" represents dwarf recessive character. Similarly Capital "B" for example  represents round dominant pea seeds and small "b" represents wrinkled recessive pea seeds.

In this question organism with having hetero-zygous characters (i.e having both dominant and recessive traits) are crossed. Underlined represents male part while non-underlined represents Female part of plant

                                                AaBb × AaBb-----------(1)

Four different types of gametes are produced from each organism due to meiosis in which chromosomes become half and alleles become separated.

i.e                     AB,  Ab,  aB and ab× AB,  Ab,  aB and ab--------------(2)

Mating of these alleles are represented below in the form of checker board.

      AB       Ab    aB       ab

AB AABB AABb AaBB  AaBb

Ab AABb AAbb AaBb  Aabb

aB AaBB AaBb aaBB  aaBb

ab AaBb Aabb aaBb aabb

In this cross aabb is the only genotype that is homozygous for both traits among 16 offspring's produced during the AaBb × AaBb cross.

Proportion is:   16  :  1
