Answer 1
Answer: There could be a lot of reasons. To help break down food for the plants, kill off bad and harmful things that might damage the plant.
Answer 2
Answer: Bacteria are important in the soil to maintain the nitrogen cycle. Certain type of bacterais help in nitrogen fixation. They also decompose dead and decaying matter into nitrogen compounds such as ammonia. The nitrogen and nitrogenous compounds in turm help the plant to grow.

When the plant dies, the bacteria again decomposes it into nitrogenous compounds. Not only plants, but also animals. The nitrogen then passes through various stages and then gets back to atmospheric nitrogen. Bacteria is an important part of this nitrogen cycle.

B. Multicellularity
C. Cell walls made from sugars
D. Autotrophy
E. Motility (ability of locomotion)

Answer:

Multicellularity

Autotrophy

Membrane-bound Nuclei

Explanation:

This kingdom of plantae comprises of the more familiar green plants. They are multicellular organisms which contain the green light-trapping pigment called chlorophyll. They make their own food from carbon dioxide, water and mineral salts using sunlight energy, a process called photosynthesis. Thus plants are said to autotrophic.

What are the 3 principles of heredity that Gregor Mendel discovered?

Answers

Based on the information shared by the experiments of Gregor Mendel, the statement “traits are passed from parents to offspring independently of one another” is actually a theory and not a hypothesis or observation. It cannot be a hypothesis as it is already tested and proved. Hypothesis is something that has not been proved. An observation is something that has been observed, but never proved. Gregor Mendes proved this theory or hypothesis in the laboratory and so it is surely a theory.
