Explanation:
Harriet Tubman lead hundreds of slaves from the south to the north where they could have freedom. Doing this meant the slaves could finally be free from having to do whatever their owner says. She helped the slaves escape from being hit by their slaveowners for doing something wrong. Harriet also saved the slaves from being separated because a slave owner could sell slaves to another owner which separated families. The area where the slaves lived and slept in weren’t always in good condition.
Cabeza de Vaca was met by several Indian tribes who later took him in and forced him into a life of slavery, working alongside Indian women and enduring harsh weather for a short amount of time. These tribes were the Hans and the Capoques, but later on took different names which were the Karankawa and Coahuiltecan.
At first, interpretation could make all people think differently and have different approaches regarding the same religion or the same gods. By having it all always the same way coming from a place of authority, the early Christians could build a sense of unity and identity around the doctrines of the church.
