Which is an effect of an increase in ocean temperature?A. Decreased transpiration
B. Decreased evaporation
C. Increased percolation
D. Increased precipitation

Answers

Answer 1
Answer:

An increase in the temperature of oceans will result in an increased precipitation, the correct option is D.

What is precipitation?

Precipitation is any outcome of the condensation of atmospheric water vapor that tends to fall underneath the gravitational pull of clouds.

The most popular examples of precipitation are torrential rain, rain, snowstorms, snow, ice pellets, graupel, and hail.

Precipitation is the result of an increase in the temperature of ocean, as the temperature increases, it will cause the increased evaporation and will leads to an increased precipitation.

Thus, the correct option is D.

D. John Dalton developed the atomic theory, which he published in

1803.

What is Dalton's Atomic Theory?

The first part of his principle states that all be counted are made from atoms, which can be indivisible. The second part of the idea says all atoms of a given element are equal in mass and properties. The 3rd part says compounds are mixtures of two or more exceptional forms of atoms.

The 5 atomic models are as follows:

John Dalton's atomic model: Dalton´s Billiard Ball (Solid Sphere) version.

J.J. Thomson's version: Plum Pudding version.

Ernest Rutherford's model: Nuclear model.

Niels Bohr's model: Planetary version.

Erwin Schrödinger's version: Electron Cloud version/Quantum Mode

Insulin is an important hormone that allows the body to use glucose from food. After an individual eats a meal, glucose travels through the blood stream and reaches beta cells in the pancreas. The glucose causes the beta cells to release insulin. Insulin then travels through the blood stream and attaches to insulin receptors on other cells, which allows them to take in glucose and use it for energy. What does this information best demonstrate?

Answers

Insulin is one of the significant hormones in the human body. The information about insulin and its mechanisms explains how the human body uses food for its energy requirements.

Generally, glucose obtained from the food that travels in the bloodstream is responsible for elevating the blood sugar level. The pancreas is an organ that helps in releasing insulin for controlling the blood glucose level. Insulin tends to get released in a feedback mechanism depending on the blood sugar level.

The mechanism of insulin best demonstrates the following:

  • Insulin along with glucagon helps in maintaining the state called homeostasis for the steady condition in the human body
  • Insulin is considered vital for cells to utilize glucose and obtain energy

Thus, the mechanism of insulin in the human body explains how energy is utilized by different cells and how insulin is important in maintaining homeostasis.

How to grow bacteria?

Answers

Hey there! Now that I know its for your science project , Id be more than  happy to help ( if this was from your text book, It might have not been right since some text books might not mention the method I would have given you)

Sooo.. Here we go.. For my science project This is the method I used...

step 1 ) Go to your fridge
step 2) Go grab a piece or two of white or wheat toast. Its preferable to use both so you can see and compare the difference.
step 3) (before you do anything else, since it is a science project, your teacher might want a hypothesis, with observations and data, and a conclusion to your experiment, so just make sure you have those done if you have to.)
Step 4) go get 2 Ziplock bags, preferably the one that you zip and seal..
Step 5) Place the wheat toast in one bag, and place the other toast in the other bag...
Step 6) Make sure that when you put the toast in the bags , you take all the air out of the bag, make sure there is no air at all!
Step 7) put the toasts in a dark place with no light and very little air. The place I put them was the closet that I never opened.
Step 8) Leave them there for about 7-9 days
Step 9) Take it out...
The results are going to be gross... you should see weird fuzzy things (mold, fungus, bacteria, etc.)
Thats when your project is complete..

PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH OR EAT THE TOAST.. WHERE PLASTIC GLOVES WHILE HANDLING THE TOAST, BECAUSE IT CAN GET YOU SERIOUSLY SICK!!!! DISPOSE OF IT AFTER YOU ARE DONE! THANK YOU!
