One reason for this anxiety is that students are rarely taught to evaluate *their* own work. They have no criterion for *evaluating* their own performance. Instead, they *fell* prey to the whims of chance good or bad marks just happen or depend on luck such as what lecturer they have or *reflect* their level of natural cleverness. This can leave students falling disempowered or *drifted* even if their marks are good. Students can feel very vulnerable and may worry about *suddenly* being exposed as stupid. *Anxiety* may create a vicious cycle such students can not settle down to study can not focus attention can not take *in* what they read or can not remember *what* they learnt and this reinforces their suspicion that really they *lack* intelligence. This is very common so it is important to look on what we mean by intelligence.

What are the affects, consequences of drinking and smoking underage? How can the young person then get support on how to stop them from drinking and smoking?

Answers

Well i just gonna list what i've learned from my studies. Drinking and smoking can cause damage to the brain.

For example:  Smoking can get you addicted to nicotine which isn't bad by itself until you get the other chemicals mixed in it which creates black tar in your lungs and throat and burning paper or ashes which can make breathing and getting oxygen to your blood way harder.

And drinking can make your reaction times slow, impair your vision, and make talking, memory, and walking a challenge. But if you are drinking consistently some of these effects can be permanent and last long after you've become sober.

Lady Macbeth reads her husband’s letter then asks the following: “Make thick my blood, / Stop up th’ access and passage to remorse”-- What is she asking?

Answers

This is from Act 1 Scene 5, so we're pretty early in the play. This is Lady Macbeth's famous "unsex me here" speech, which is where she sort of calls on the spirits to quiet her feminine, maternal instincts to be empathetic and emotional (super sexist, I know). So she asks the spirits to fill her "with direst cruelty" so that she'll be able to help Macbeth kill Duncan and take the crown. That's what she means by "Make thick my blood." It's like, "please spirits, take away my ability to feel guilty about all the murderous shenanigans I'm about to throw down."

The wind roaring forlorn and changing through the old peach trees What kind of literary device is this
(Simile,metaphor,
personification,etc)

Answers

Answer:

Personification

Explanation:

Answer:

Personification.

Explanation:

There is no like or as, that concludes that it is NOT a Simile. We also know that nothing is being compared in the sentence, therefore it is not a Metaphor. It is Personification because the sentence states; "wind roaring", meaning it is giving the wind human actions, thoughts, or traits.

Hope this helps. Vote brainiest.
